Game 2s in the NBA playoffs are here, so the pressure is on any team that is currently facing a 1-0 deficit. On Tuesday that fate belongs to the Atlanta Hawks, Cleveland Cavaliers and Phoenix Suns. In fact, the Cavaliers and Suns even lost their respective openers at home — so they really need to get back on track in the worst way. Below is my NBA mega parlay for Tuesday’s playoffs action, and also be sure to check out all of our NBA picks.

For this parlay, we are going with 2 favorites against the spread – 1 on an alternate line – and 1 underdog on the money line. Let’s break down each of the 3 legs.

Boston Celtics -10.5 over Atlanta Hawks (-110)
Even though the final score in the series opener was 112-99, it was nowhere near as close as that margin suggests. In fact, the Celtics were up by 30 at halftime. They are simply the far superior team, plus they are still at home for Game 2 on Tuesday night. The only way I see the Hawks covering is through the back door, just as they came somewhat close to a back-door cover in Game 1 even though it was a blowout. A back-door cover is never something you want to count on. Give me the Celtics to win SU and ATS.

New York Knicks ML over Cleveland Cavaliers (+180)
The Knicks took Game 1 on the road, and it was no fluke. They played great, which is nothing new for them away from home. New York compiled a 24-17 road record during the regular season, even better than their numbers inside Madison Square Garden. Perhaps most encouraging for the visitors is that they dominated the rebounding battle 51 to 38. That is a very repeatable statistic, and if the Knicks crash the boards like that again then they will likely be on their way to a 2-0 series lead. Even if they don’t dominate the boards, Jalen Brunson and Julius Randle are good enough to carry their squad to another win.

Phoenix Suns -9.5 alternate spread over LA Clippers (+118)
I can’t imagine the Clippers winning 2 in a row on the road, especially not when they are missing Paul George. Recent reports have George being sidelined for the entire season. Los Angeles did extremely well to pull off the upset in Game 1 on Sunday, but the chances of lightning striking twice without 1 of the best players in the series on the floor are slim.
A lot of people are making the argument that the Clippers should be especially encouraged by the fact that they won even though Russell Westbrook went 3-for-19 from the floor, but don’t forget that a lot of Suns players also performed well below normal standards. You can be sure, too, that Kevin Durant will attempt more than 15 shots on Tuesday. I believe Phoenix can win by double-digits.
