After only 1 NBA game was played on Thursday night, we have a huge 11-game slate on our hands for Friday. The schedule includes an ESPN showdown between the Los Angeles Lakers and Milwaukee Bucks at 7:30 pm ET. Also in action are the Brooklyn Nets and Boston Celtics, while the Golden State Warriors wrap up the night with a 10:00 pm ET tip against the visiting Chicago Bulls.
Here is a look at today’s mega parlay.
Nuggets -3.5 alternate spread (+105)
76ers ML (+185)
Jazz -7.5 (-110)
Parlay odds: +1011
For this 3-team parlay, we are going with 1 underdog on the money line and 2 favorites against the spread — 1 on an alternate number. Let’s break down each of the 3 legs.
Denver Nuggets -3.5 alternate spread over Atlanta Hawks (+105)
The Hawks will be extremely depleted on Friday. De’Andre Hunter, John Collins and Justin Holiday all picked up injuries earlier this week that will keep them out of tonight’s game. On top of that Clint Capela, Bogdan Bogdanovic (hasn’t played all season), Jalen Johnson and Frank Kaminsky are all listed as questionable. Atlanta has lost 6 of its last 10, too. This undermanned team would probably struggle against anyone in this situation – and especially against a formidable foe like Denver.
The Nuggets have won 4 straight and they have been one of the best attacking teams in the league this season, ranking 3rd in offensive rating. A huge part of that is the play of Nikola Jokic, who can dominate just about any opponent and should really have a field day down low with Capela sidelined.

Philadelphia 76ers ML over Memphis Grizzlies (+185)
Both teams enter this contest coming off losses on Wednesday. The 76ers fell to the Cavaliers by 28 points on 6-for-26 shooting from beyond the arc without a single player recording more than 20 points. Meanwhile, the Grizzlies endured perhaps their sloppiest game of the season, committing 27 turnovers and 7 technical fouls during their 109-101 setback against the Timberwolves. Which team bounces back? I like Philly.
Memphis is dealing with a notable absence in Desmond Bane; he has been out several weeks due to a toe injury. That has significantly impacted the offense, as the Grizzlies’ 5th-best offensive rating (114.8) has slid all the way down to 22nd (110.4) since he has been sidelined. It is true that the 76ers are dealing with injuries themselves in James Harden and Tyrese Maxey. However, Joel Embiid and others can make up for those absences and the Sixers also have a clear edge on defense. Sound the upset alarm.

Utah Jazz -5.5 over Indiana Pacers (-110)
The Pacers got destroyed by the Kings 137-114 in their last game. On the other hand, the Jazz defeated the Clippers 125-112. Adding insult to injury for Indy, it could be without starting point guard Tyrese Haliburton. He is questionable with a groin problem. If in fact Haliburton is sidelined, the Jazz should be able to win – and win big. Their win over the Clippers was a beauty to see from the starting lineup, as the whole Utah starting 5 scored in double-figures — led by Jordan Clarkson, who went for 33 points. In the last 5 games, the Pacers are bottom 5 in opponent field-goal percentage, allowing teams to shoot better than 50%, which does not bode well when facing a confident Utah offense.
