Good morning, Pickswise Nation. Week 12 in the NFL continues with an unusual Black Friday battle between the Dolphins and Jets. We also have sizable slates in both the NBA and NHL plus an intriguing lineup on the college basketball hardwood. It’s another big day in the world of sports, so let’s get straight to making your next bet better!

About Last Night

  • DaRon Bland’s record-setting fifth interception return for a touchdown of the season cashed the over in Dallas’ Thanksgiving Day win over Washington. Over 48.5 was the Pickswise experts’ lone 3-star best bet of the day. In the other games, Green Bay upset Dallas and San Francisco took care of Seattle.
  • Prop Holliday went 3-0 with his NFL player prop bets on Thanksgiving.
  • Ole Miss came out on top in a defensive struggle in the Egg Bowl, beating Mississippi State 17-7. Under 55 was an easy winner for the Pickswise team.
  • Villanova outlasted North Carolina 83-81 in the semifinals of the Battle 4 Atlantis. The Wildcats will face Memphis for the title after the Tigers defeated Arkansas 84-79.

Best Bet of the Day

NCAAF: Texas Longhorns -12.5 over Texas Tech Red Raiders (-110)
7.30 pm ET, ABC

Texas needs to win this game to guarantee a spot in the Big 12 Championship while also keeping its hopes alive for the College Football Playoff. It probably will – and by a lot. The Longhorns have not been extremely efficient offensively in the last 6 weeks, but some of those inconsistencies can be attributed to quarterback Quinn Ewers missing a couple games due to injury. Their passing attack has much more upside with Ewers under center, and it should take advantage of a Texas Tech defense that is 75th in points per opportunity allowed, 88th in success rate allowed and 106th in PPA since Week 7. The Red Raiders as a whole are simply mediocre. They are bowl eligible following last week’s win over UCF, but that’s about it. Look for UT to roll. Quote of the Day

I think it already resonates with every single one of us and certainly not far from our minds.
