UFC 278 parlay (+573 odds)

Kamaru Usman vs Leon Edwards – Fight to go the Distance – Yes (-150)

Kamaru Usman is undoubtedly a heavy favorite here to retain his title and while he looks to be the right side, Leon Edwards has been good enough throughout his career to make backing Usman at this price feel a bit too risky. Of Usman’s 15 UFC fights, 10 of them have gone the distance. As for Edwards, 10 of his 13 UFC fights have also gone the distance, including each of his last 4 fights in the UFC. On top of that, Edwards has never lost by KO/TKO or submission, so for that reason, backing this fight to go the full 5 rounds will be the play. View our Kamaru Usman vs. Leon Edwards full fight predictions.

Paulo Costa vs Luke Rockhold – Fight to end by KO/TKO (-225)

Paulo Costa is a huge favorite here which is warranted because of the fact that Luke Rockhold has not fought in the UFC in over 3 years. However, Rockhold still has a very high finish rate, so he should not be completely counted out of this fight. Specifically, Rockhold has won 6 times by KO/TKO and lost by the same method 5 times as well. Costa has won 11 times by KO/TKO, lost once by this method and never has lost by submission which should negate the ability Rockhold has to win on the ground. Because Rockhold’s chin has been an issue for him, backing this fight to end by KO/TKO will be the play.

AJ Fletcher ML (-165) over Ange Loosa

AJ Fletcher comes into this fight with an MMA record of 9-1. He is 1-1 in the UFC, most recently losing to Matthew Semelsberger by unanimous decision back in March of this year. Fletcher is averaging 2.53 significant strikes per minute and has a striking accuracy of 55%. He is absorbing 2.53 significant strikes per minute and has a striking accuracy of 55. His grappling is also very good, averaging 4.31 takedowns per every 15 minutes. His takedown accuracy is 62% and he has not been able to defend a takedown in the UFC.

Fletcher is a decent sized favorite here and looks to be the right side based on the fact that he has superior grappling. Loosa has the better striking, but absorbs far too many strikes, therefore backing Fletcher to win will be the play.

Aoriqileng ML (-135) over Jay Perrin

Aoriqileng comes into this fight with an MMA record of 22-9. He is 1-2 in the UFC, most recently beating Cameron Else by KO/TKO back in April of this year. Aoriqileng is averaging 6.65 significant strikes per minute and has a striking accuracy of 46%. He is absorbing 7.77 strikes and has a striking defense of 49%. His grappling is also solid, averaging 2.29 takedowns per every 15 minutes. His takedown accuracy is 62% and his takedown defense is 54%.

Aoriqileng is a decent-sized favorite here and looks to be the right side. He has superior striking and even though he is absorbing a ton of damage, he has also never lost by KO/TKO. They both have solid grappling ability, but because Aoriqileng has the better striking, backing him to win this fight will be the play.
