There is a playoff double-header today with the New York Knicks (+4) heading down to South Beach for Game 3 of the Eastern Conference semifinals against the Miami Heat. Jimmy Butler is on the injury report as questionable but is expected to play with the series notched a 1-1. In the late slot, the Los Angeles Lakers (-3) head home for Game 3 of the Western Conference semis with the Golden State Warriors coming off an impressive win. The question on everyone’s mind should be,”Which version of Anthony Davis will we get?” When Davis plays well, the Lakers can win with ease. If he is passive, the Lakers are likely going down 2-1.

Let’s take a look at a few player props and hope we avoid the recent wave of blowouts.

Duncan Robinson (MIA) Over 6.5 points (-105)

Line available on BetMGM at the time of publishing.

After being one of the worst contracts in the NBA and accruing several DNP/inactives this season, Robinson has been thrusted back into the Miami rotation this postseason. He has cleared this number in 4 of 8 playoff games and 2 of 2 at home. When Robinson played 15+min, he hit this line in 66% of games and 75% of games at home in the regular season. This postseason when Robinson plays 20+ min, he is a perfect 4 for 4 against this line. I like Robinson to be on the floor tonight to provide spacing for the Heat and an offensive spark. 1U.

RJ Barrett (NYK) Under 25.5 points + rebounds (-120)

Line available on BetMGM at the time of publishing.

RJ Barrett on the road is very different from RJ Barrett in Madison Square Garden. He has yet to reach this line on the road this postseason despite playing 31+min in all 3 of those games. With Julius Randle back into the lineup in Game 2, Barrett tallied a measly 3 rebound chances despite playing 38 minutes. Also, Butler returns to the Heat today and will see possessions where he is lined up on Barrett defensively. It’s tough to fade a guy playing so well of late, but this line is too high for my liking and the return of Butler combined with Randle getting healthier should see a reduced output for Barrett.

Donte DiVincenzo (GSW) Over 4.5 rebounds + assists (-130)

Line available on BetMGM at time of publishing.

DiVincenzo has hit this line in 6 of 9 playoff games this postseason and is coming one of his better playoff performances (8-4-4). I like DiVincenzo to be on the floor tonight 15+min due to his defensive prowess and ability to fit in many different lineups for this Warriors team. When he has logged 15+min this postseason, he has hit this line in 5 of 6 games. 1U.
