We have a 3-pack of NBA playoff games tonight with Game 2s for Atlanta (+10.5) vs Boston, New York (+5.5) vs Cleveland, and the LA Clippers (+7.5) vs Phoenix. The Hawks/Celtics series is lopsided and I’m predicting will be over in 5 games. The other two series appear to be in for 6+ with the underdogs stealing Game 1s on the road. On the injury front, the Knicks could be without Josh Hart (doubtful) as the Cavs look to even the series at 1-1. For now, let’s dive into my best NBA player props for tonight’s games, but make sure you also check out our NBA picks for Tuesday’s action.

Saddiq Bey (ATL) over 10.5 points (-120)
Line available on Caesar’s Sportsbook at the time of publishing.
This series is going to be over quickly, but before it does, I expect Quin Snyder to make every effort in making it look respectable. To do so, he’s going to have to match the small ball of Boston and get more offense out of his tertiary pieces. With that in mind, I’m pivoting to Bey. He’s averaging 11.6 ppg as a member of the Hawks, but that number jumps to 14.9 ppg when he plays 25+ minutes (hitting this line in 9 of 11 games). Bey played almost 24 minutes in the last game but was unnoticeable when he was on the floor. The Hawks will need him to space the floor on offense and have another big body to throw at Tatum/Brown defensively. 1U

Immanuel Quickley (NYK) over 12.5 points (-104)
Line available on FanDuel Sportsbook at the time of publishing.
This line has a 60% hit rate on the season and Quickley will be in for a minutes bump if Hart is out (currently doubtful). When Quickley plays 30+ minutes, he hits this line in an astounding 28 of 31 games this season. He landed on 23 in Game 1 and the Knicks will need something big from him if they want to win on the road. Quickley hit this line in 2 of 4 against the Cavs this season. 1U

Norman Powell (LAC) over 14.5 points (-128)
Line available on Caesar’s Sportsbook at the time of publishing.
Powell landed on 14 points in Game 1 but did it in only 23 minutes. The Clippers pulled off the upset, but they will need to make a few changes in Game 2 if they want to move to a 2-0 lead. Bones Hyland does not look playable in this series outside of garbage time and expecting another 19-point performance from Eric Gordon is asking a lot. I like Powell to be the guy who steps up tonight outside of Kawhi Leonard. This line is well below his 17 ppg average and 16.8 ppg since the all-star break. This line is just too low for what is needed from him and what his averages are. 1U

Darius Garland (CLE) over 7.5 assists (+115)
Line available on DraftKings Sportsbook at the time of publishing.
Cleveland dropped Game 1 at home and MUST win this game before heading to Game 3 in New York. Garland is averaging 8.3 assists per game at home, 8.3 assists per game in wins, and hit this line in 53% of games this season. We are getting great value at +115 and having Josh Hart likely out drastically impacts this Knicks defensive front. Garland had 13 potential assists in Game 1, but only finished with 1, which to me is an anomaly. This is 0.5U for me and Garland is a 10+ast/double-double candidate tonight.
