Week 7 of the 2024 NFL regular season is on the immediate horizon, and it’s the third in a row with a London Series contest. The Jacksonville Jaguars conclude their annual 2-week trek in their home away from home across the pond, kicking off Sunday’s slate against the New England Patriots and rookie quarterback Drake Maye. That is preceded by Thursday Night Football, which features the New Orleans Saints and Denver Broncos. We’ll also see a massive matchup out west, as the San Francisco 49ers take on the Kansas City Chiefs in a Super Bowl rematch.

Make sure you check out our NFL predictions as we add our picks on the side and total for every game throughout the week – and throughout the entire season. Also don’t miss our NFL best bets page for our top picks, especially after we went 5-1 last week! For now, let’s break down the NFL Week 7 opening lines and give our best early bet to make.

Best early bet for NFL Week 7: Eagles vs Giants Under 45.5 (-110)

We got to the window with our opening lines best bet on the Texans for this past week, and I’ll be looking to get to the window with a bet on a pretty important NFC East showdown this week. The Philadelphia Eagles and New York Giants are teams that have the capability of putting up points given the talent both teams have on offense, but neither team is consistent enough to give me confidence that they’ll clear this total.

On one side, the Eagles are coming off an uninspiring performance against a Cleveland Browns team that is clearly one of the worst in football. On the other side, the Giants were without Malik Nabers for the second straight week due to a concussion and struggled mightily against a poor Bengals defense as a result. Brian Daboll is also keeping the ball on the ground a lot for New York, meaning that the Giants are going to be extremely methodical in their approach, as we’ve seen over the last few weeks. Given that the Eagles are likely going to force-feed another 20+ touches to Saquon Barkley out of the backfield as a way to mitigate an excellent Giants pass rush, the clock should be moving in this one. This is a number that I’d expect to settle below 45, so let’s take the under at MetLife Stadium.

We’ll have NFL picks for every game in Week 7!
