We’ve arrived at NFL Week 15 and the quest for a Super Bowl is as wide-open as it has been in some time. We had plenty of chaos during the Week 14 slate, including the Jets knocking off the Texans and a wild finish in Kansas City as the Bills upended the Chiefs. That just goes to show you that every week has crazy moments in the NFL, and I wouldn’t expect that to change anytime soon. Make sure you keep checking our NFL predictions as we add our picks on the side and total for every game throughout the week. For now, let’s break down the NFL Week 15 opening lines and our best early bet to make.

Best early bet for NFL Week 15: Detroit Lions -3.5 over Denver Broncos (-110)
I’ve happily faded the Lions in both of their matchups against the Bears over the last few weeks, but now that public sentiment has quieted on Detroit and the Broncos have been winning and covering numbers over the last 6 weeks, I’m ready to hop back on the train. The biggest reason anyone would have for backing the Lions in this spot is that Detroit is back at home in the dome after a brutal game for Jared Goff outdoors in the cold. Goff has been a completely different quarterback at home this season, as has been the case for most of his career to this point. The Lions are also due for some positive regression on the turnover front after coughing the ball up 7 times over the last 4 games, while the Broncos have been extremely fortunate with their turnover luck in their wins over the last month. Denver is no doubt an improving team, but they might be walking into a buzzsaw against a Lions offense that should put up a big number at home.
