We are coming down the home stretch, so the importance of each game is getting bigger and bigger – at least for teams that are still in playoff contention. The upcoming week is headlined by a huge NFC East showdown on Sunday Night Football between Philadelphia and Dallas before we get a rare Monday Night Football doubleheader.

Best early bet for NFL Week 14: Atlanta Falcons -2.5 over Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-115)
I have hit my best early bet in each of the last 2 weeks, so let’s keep it rolling! In fact, I also went with Atlanta in Week 13 – when it was a -2.5 favorite (yes, the exact same number as this one) at the Jets. That worked out well, as the Falcons prevailed 13-8 on Sunday. Let’s go right back to the well with Atlanta hosting Tampa Bay in Week 14. The Buccaneers are 5-7 overall and 3-7 in their last 10 games. They have not defeated a team currently with a winning record all year long and have not won on the road since Week 4. Sure, the Falcons are nothing special, but they have won 2 straight and are 3-0 in the NFC South – including a victory at Tampa Bay in Week 7. At anything less than a field goal, I am happy to back Atlanta.
We’ll have NFL Week 14 picks for every game — and we’re up +53.6 units this season!
