NFL Week 13 best bet: Seattle Seahawks -1.5 over New York Jets (-110)

The Jets are pretty much always outstanding fade candidates, and this week is no exception even though they are coming off a bye. It’s not like this is some kind of elite coaching staff that is going to come up with an intricate scheme during its extra time to prepare. Quite the opposite, in fact. Things have only gotten worse since former head coach Robert Saleh was fired much earlier in the season. Aaron Rodgers and company are 3-8 overall and 1-7 in their last 8 games.

Meanwhile, Seattle has looked like a different team coming out of its bye week. The well-rested Seahawks promptly won 2 in a row, first in San Francisco (which had Brock Purdy, Christian McCaffrey and Nick Bosa playing in that game) and then on Sunday via a 16-6 stomping of Arizona. Seattle is 6-5 and tied atop the NFC West, so it has everything to play for. New York has nothing to play for as is currently in the midst of an almighty implosion. Give me the Seahawks all day long.

We’ll have NFL Week 13 picks for every game!
