We are continuing the NBA week with a small 5-game slate on Tuesday, but it certainly packs a punch. The schedule is highlighted by a doubleheader on TNT, beginning with the red-hot Knicks hosting the Warriors before the Grizzlies visit the Nuggets. Also in action are the Jazz, Heat and Suns.
Here is a look at Tuesday’s mega parlay.
Pistons ML (+140)
Warriors ML (+166)
Heat -5 (-110)
Parlay odds: +1119
For this 3-team parlay, we are going with 2 underdogs on the money line and 1 favorite against the spread. Let’s break down each of the 3 legs.

Detroit Pistons ML over Utah Jazz (+140)
The Jazz are playing the 2nd game of a back-to-back so I will happily fade them as considerable favorites. Utah started the season 10-3 but it is now just 1 game over .500 at 17-16 following Monday’s 122-99 loss at Cleveland. That was preceded by a 123-97 setback at Milwaukee. Tuesday’s contest marks the end of a 3-game road trip and having played on both Saturday and Monday I do not expect fresh legs. Although the Pistons are nothing special, they should be able to take advantage.
Detroit is wrapping up a 3-game home stand and most recently pushed Brooklyn to a 124-121 decision on Sunday. That certainly isn’t a bad loss considering how the Nets are playing these days. Bojan Bogdanovic’s last 4 point totals are 38, 24, 22 and 26, so don’t be surprised if he shoots Detroit to a victory.

Golden State Warriors ML over New York Knicks (+166)
This may be a bit of a longshot (as the money line odds suggest) given the Knicks’ hot streak. At some point, though, New York’s run is going to end. This team has won 7 in a row and I’m just not sure it is good enough to keep it going much longer. With few exceptions, only great teams get into the double-digit realm of winning streaks. The Knicks are decent; they certainly aren’t great. They also have not defeated any particularly formidable competition since tipping off the surge by beating the Cavaliers.
As for the Warriors, they are without Stephen Curry and Andrew Wiggins but Klay Thompson and Draymond Green are back in the lineup. Golden State was part of my Sunday mega parlay – also on the money line – and they delivered by routing the Raptors 126-110 as +180 underdogs. At another lofty price, give me the Dubs once again.

Miami Heat -5 over Chicago Bulls (-110)
The Bulls are in horrendous form and adding insult to injury they are in the midst of a 4-game road trip. They have already lost 4 in a row – a stretch that includes back-to-back home losses to New York. Chicago followed up those results by beginning the trip with a 150-126 setback in Minnesota. This club isn’t playing any defense and it isn’t getting much at all offensively from anyone other than DeMar DeRozan, Zach LaVine and Nikola Vucevic.
As for the Heat, their injury list looks a lot better than it did this past weekend. Jimmy Butler is probable, so even if Kyle Lowry can’t go they should still be in fine shape. Miami has to be feeling great having won 4 straight and now returning home to begin a stretch of 4 in its own friendly confines of FTX Arena.
