Two Eastern Conference heavyweights square off tonight as the Boston Celtics take on the Milwaukee Bucks and the winner takes the #2 seed. You can watch this game as part of the TNT doubleheader tonight starting from 7:30 pm ET. I’ve prepared a same game parlay to make things more interesting.

We also have predictions on the side and total for the rest of Thursday’s action, including part 2 of the TNT doubleheader between the Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors.

Let’s get into it!

Boston Celtics 1-10 win margin (+330)

Jrue Holiday to score 20+ points (+118)

Parlay odds: +903

Boston Celtics 1-10 win margin (+330)

The Celtics have already beaten the Bucks twice this season, and 2 of the 3 games between them were decided by fewer than 10 points. With so much at stake tonight, I think we are going to go down the wire and this game could be decided in the closing minutes, if not seconds. The reason why I like Boston is very simple. They’ve been the best team in the East over the past month or so, winning 14 of 17 games, and are 13-2 SU in their last 15 on the road. Against the Bucks they’ve covered the spread in 6 straight games and tonight they are 6.5-point underdogs, which is a bit too much considering the run they’ve put together. Jayson Tatum is averaging 31.3 points per game in the 3 meetings this season, while Jaylen Brown is on a 10-game streak of scoring 25+ points, the longest such active streak in the NBA. The Celtics want that #2 seed, so look for them to go all out tonight and try to get one over the defending champs.

Jrue Holiday to score 20+ points (+118)

Jrue Holiday has looked unstoppable over the past 10 games, especially from 3-point land, as he’s making 42.2% of his long shots. He’s averaging 19.3 points per game during that stretch and in his last 9 games he’s scored 20 points 5 times. March was the 2nd-highest scoring month of the season for him, and he finished it averaging 20.3 points per game. The Celtics’ 3-point defending has been rather poor over the past 3 games as they’ve allowed opponents to make 40% of shots from the perimeter and that’s a big opportunity for Jrue to shine. He’s already had a 20-point game against Boston this season, while in the 2 other meetings he had 17. If the Celtics focus on stopping Giannis and Middleton, which I’m sure they will, that should give plenty of room for Holiday to roam around and hopefully be the facilitator on offense.
