Memphis Grizzlies -2 (-110) over Milwaukee Bucks

The Grizzlies have one of the most dramatic home and away splits in the NBA. At home, they have a +11.4 average scoring margin, which is 1st in the association. However, when they go on the road, they have a -4.3 margin. Fortunately for the Grizzlies, they are at home tonight against the Bucks. They will also be getting Ja Morant and Steven Adams back, who are both not on the injured list anymore. They return at a crucial time as Giannis Antetokounmpo and company come to town, and if Memphis has any chance at beating Milwaukee, Adams needs to limit the Greek Freak’s presence in the game.

The Grizzlies have won 6 games in a row, including 5 of them being in Memphis, and they have a +14.5 average scoring margin in that 5-game span at home. Memphis is 12-2 SU and 10-3-1 ATS at home, so I’ll back them in the comforts of FedExForum against the Bucks.

Houston Rockets ML (+146) over Miami Heat

Similar to the Grizzlies, the Rockets are a much better basketball team when they’re at home. They have a +0.6 average scoring margin at home, but it drops to -9.3 when they are on the road. Obviously, a +0.6 margin isn’t great, but keep in mind that the Rockets are 9-18 this season and are still trying to gel their young players together. Six of their 9 wins have come at home, and they have an excellent chance to steal this game as Miami is on the second leg of a back-to-back.

Miami won in dramatic fashion last night against the Oklahoma City Thunder, and that means we could see a few Heat stars sit out tonight against a team still looking for their 10th win. Jimmy Butler is questionable along with the possibility of Bam Adebayo, Kyle Lowry and Victor Oladipo sitting out due to injury management and rest. If one or a few of Miami’s key players sit out, it would be a huge loss for their offense which already ranks 29th in the last 10 games.

New Orleans Pelicans -4.5 (+162) over Utah Jazz

Home and away splits have been a trend of this mega parlay, so I’ll stick with it for this last leg. The Pelicans have been impressive this season as they are closing in on 20 wins already, and one reason they have been so successful has been their excellent play on the road. New Orleans ranks 2nd in the NBA in average scoring margin on the road behind only the NBA-best Boston Celtics. They average 117.1 points per game away from home which ranks 1st in the NBA by nearly 3 points, a substantial gap from 1st to 2nd place.

Because of the weird NBA scheduling quirks this season, this is the second game in a row between the Pelicans and Jazz in Utah. The Jazz were able to come away with a 121-100 win 2 days ago, but I don’t anticipate the Pelicans shooting 39.8% from the field and 14.8% from 3-point land again. It was an off-shooting night for New Orleans on Tuesday, and if they push the pace and beat Utah on the boards, this should be a big bounce-back win for the Pelicans.
