We are wrapping up the NBA week with a small 4-game slate on Sunday. It is headlined by the nightcap at 8:00 pm ET on NBA TV featuring Milwaukee at home against New Orleans. Miami, Charlotte, Indiana, Memphis, the Clippers and Cleveland are also taking the court.

Here is a look at Sunday’s mega parlay.

Heat -10.5 alternate spread (+175)

Grizzlies -7.5 (-110)

Bucks -8.5 (-110)

Parlay odds: +902

For this parlay we are going with 3 favorites against the spread, and another on an alternate number. Let’s break down each of the 3 legs.

Heat -10.5 alternate spread over Hornets (+175)

The Hornets are a horrible basketball team, with a 14-36 record that has them firmly in the Victor Wembanyama sweepstakes. They have no incentive to win — and probably aren’t going to on Sunday. Charlotte does have home-court advantage, but that is of no concern. Its 6 home victories this season are tied for the fewest in the association. The Hornets haven’t yet hosted the Heat in 2022-23, but Miami won both of the home encounters in November – including the second one via a 132-115 blowout. You also have to like the fact that head coach Erik Spoelstra’s squad has won 3 in a row and 7 of its last 9 and is 16-7 since beginning the season 12-15.

Grizzlies -7.5 over Pacers (-110)

The Grizzlies have lost 5 games in a row, but it isn’t time to panic. They are still #2 in the Western Conference and well within striking distance of the Nuggets to steal the #1 seed in time for the playoffs. Moreover, all 5 of the recent losses came on the road against respectable Western Conference opponents. Now the Grizzlies are back at home, where they are 20-3 this season (best home record in the entire league) compared to 11-15 on the road. Meanwhile, the Pacers are a horrendous 8-17 on the road compared to 16-10 at home. Indiana is without Tyrese Haliburton (knee), so it is unlikely to emerge from its current 1-9 SU slump. Count on Memphis winning big.

Bucks -8.5 over Pelicans (-110)

New Orleans will be playing the second game of a back-to-back situation after hosting Washington on Saturday. Brandon Ingram is back for the Pelicans, but in his first appearance since November 25 he shot 4-of-18 from the field (0-of-6 from deep) as his team lost to Minnesota 111-102. Ingram had previously missed 29 games with a toe injury. Given that the Pels just played on Friday, he might not even take the court for leg two of the back-to-back. Zion Williamson is still out with a hamstring problem, so this does not set up well for the visitors. The Bucks are 19-5 at home and have won 3 straight overall by an average of 12.7 ppg.
