Sunday brings us another 8 NBA games with some really interesting matchups. The defending Eastern Conference champion Celtics are in action against the Washington Wizards, while the LA Lakers are trying to win their first game of the season at home against Denver. Both of those games are featured in today’s NBA mega parlay.

Washington Wizards ML (+290)
LA Lakers ML (+138)
Parlay odds: +828
Washington Wizards ML over Boston Celtics (+290)
At just 3-2 after 5 games played, the Celtics have shown weakness early on in the season, especially on the defensive end where they’ve allowed 120+ points in 3 games in a row. Washington is a team certainly capable of putting up big numbers — they’ve scored 117 and 120 in their last 2 outings and against the Celtics they actually split the 4 meetings last season. Washington won the first two meetings of the season, both of which were played in late October and one of those games was played at TD Garden.
Bradley Beal is putting up almost 31 points per game in the last 7 meetings with Boston, but he has a lot more help this time around with 4 teammates averaging double-digit points. With Malcolm Brogdon potentially missing tonight’s game, that is one worry less on the defensive for Beal who has had two 40+ point games at TD Garden in his last 4 visits. If he can produce at a high-level tonight, the Wizards are more than capable of shocking the confidence-lacking Celtics here.

LA Lakers ML over Denver Nuggets (+138)
I think it’s time for the Lakers to finally get off the mark in front of their own fans against a team that beat them earlier this week. Russell Westbrook is finally accepting a bench role and he will be less of a distraction and more of a productive player for LA. The Lakers weren’t without their chances in the game earlier this week against the Nuggets, they just couldn’t convert down the stretch.
It’s only a matter of time before things start clicking though, they’ve been performing really well on the defensive end owning the 2nd best defensive rating in the entire NBA. Another solid effort on that end should give them a chance here, they’ve beaten the Nuggets in 6 of the last 7 meetings at Crypto.com Arena and are also getting Anthony Davis back after he missed their last game against Minnesota. Expect a close game, with the Lakers pulling it out in the end.
