Portland Trail Blazers Money Line (+190)
I’m actually surprised the Blazers are 5.5-point underdogs tonight against a team they’ve already beaten once on the road this season. Sure, the Blazers are missing Lillard, but even without him they have wins over Houston, Phoenix, New Orleans and New York this season. In head-to-head meetings they have a 4-2 edge in the last 6 played and are catching the Lakers at a good spot here. LA suffered a heartbreaking loss vs the Indiana Pacers a couple of nights ago, with a rookie draining a three-pointer right at the buzzer erasing a 17-point lead the Lakers had in the 4th quarter. This team is on a run of 5 wins in 7 games, but 3 of them came vs San Antonio and 1 was against Detroit. Look for the Blazers to bounce back after last night’s loss with a win at Crypto.com Arena.

Jerami Grant Over 23.5 Points (-102)
One of the reasons why the Blazers will win tonight will be the play of Jerami Grant. Over his last 4 games he’s scored 21, 44, 29 and 32 points, tonight he matches-up with LeBron James. Let’s face it, LeBron is well past his prime, especially on defense and opponents are taking advantage every time they match-up with him. Grant had only 16 points in the 1st meeting of the season with the Lakers, but let’s not forget Dame Lillard also played in that game and scored 41 points on 25 shot attempts. All those attempts will be up for grabs tonight and will most likely be shared between Grant and Anfernee Simons. Grant is averaging 25.6 points per game on the road this season while shooting an absurd 54.8% from three-point land. He’s drained 5 threes in 3 of his last 4 games, I just don’t see who the Lakers put on him to slow him down here.

LeBron James 3+ Made Threes (+100)
Although he can be a streaky shooter at times, James has actually shot the three-ball pretty well over his last 4 games averaging almost 43% makes. He’s cleared this line 3 times in those 4 games, just the other night he drained 7 threes on 12 attempts. Defending the three-ball has been the Achilles heel of these Blazers, over their last 3 games they’ve given up 38.3% made threes, last night the Clippers shot 41.9% from downtown. LeBron no longer has the first step to get by his defenders on most nights, at this point of his career most of his production is coming either from the inside when posting up or from the perimeter. In the one game vs the Blazers this season he scored 31 points on 2-for-9 shooting from three, hopefully he can one up himself a score at least 3 to land our bet here.
