Fresh off their 7th win of the season against the Portland Trail Blazers, the Phoenix Suns hit the road and travel to Philadelphia to take on the 76ers. Catch the game live from 8:00 pm ET on NBA TV. The Suns are favored by just 2 points here, despite Philadelphia already being without their 2nd-best player in James Harden, and potentially even Joel Embiid, who has missed the last 2 games with an illness. In 5 home games this season, the Sixers have just 1 win and fans are becoming increasingly upset with how head coach Doc Rivers is handling the team. Tyrese Maxey is the lone bright spot putting up solid numbers, but it hasn’t translated to success early on in the season.
Phoenix just beat Portland at home for their 4th win in 5 nights. They’ve had some really big offensive performances during that stretch, scoring over 120 points twice. Right now they are on a 6-game win streak in head-to-head games against the 76ers, and have been winning by an average of 7.5 points per game. I think CP3 and company have enough to win tonight’s game by at least 7 points on the road.

Devin Booker to score 35+ points (+400)
There’s something about Booker when he plays the Philadelphia 76ers. In 14 career games against them, he is averaging 29.7 points per game. And get this – he has scored at least 35 points against them in 7 of the last 8 meetings, which is insane if you ask me! So at +400 odds, we are getting a bet that seems to be landing on a regular basis. Add to that the absence of Cameron Johnson and potentially even Cameron Payne, and Booker will have to take the burden of leading the offense against the 76ers once again.
Booker is off to a solid start this season, averaging 27 points through the first 2 weeks of the season, and in October he scored 30 or more points in 4 of 6 games played. Philadelphia has been hit hard by the injury bug — if Joel Embiid isn’t able to suit up, that will leave the middle of the lane exposed and Booker should do some damage. Having played only 29 minutes against Portland the other night, fatigue shouldn’t be a factor here.
