The NBA week continues with an 8-game slate on Saturday. It begins with the Brooklyn Nets paying a visit to the Los Angeles Clippers and wraps up with a showdown on NBA TV between the New Orleans Pelicans and Houston Rockets. Meanwhile, the Philadelphia 76ers are looking to avenge a recent loss to the Atlanta Hawks, while the Dallas Mavericks will try to halt the Portland Trail Blazers’ hot streak.

Here is a look at today’s mega parlay.

Nets ML (+105)

Jazz -8 alternate spread (+170)

Raptors ML (+100)

Parlay odds: +1007

For this 3-team parlay we are going with 2 underdogs on the money line and 1 favorite against an alternate spread. Let’s break down each of the 3.

Brooklyn Nets ML over Los Angeles Clippers (+105)

Kyrie Irving is suspended and all of a sudden the Nets are playing great basketball on both ends of the floor. Since the suspension Brooklyn has won 3 out of 4 games and opponents are shooting around 37 percent during this stretch. That makes the Nets’ defense the best in the NBA over the past 4 contests. You can’t make this stuff up, folks. In their last outing against the Knicks on Wednesday the Nets took care of business 112-85, with Kevin Durant leading the way to the tune of a triple-double. Now they face a Clippers team that is near the bottom 10 of the league in opponents’ field-goal percentage. Look for Brooklyn to have another big day both offensively and defensively.

Utah Jazz -8 alternate spread over Washington Wizards (+170)

Time is running out on Utah’s tanking plan, as this supposedly rebuilding team is beat opponents left and right and making it look easy in the process. Right now the Jazz are on a 4-game winning streak and coming off a 125-119 road win over Atlanta. The odds are once again on their side as they head tonight to Washington for a date with the Wizards. This team has covered in 7 games in a row and it is 10-3 SU both this season and its last 13 meetings with Washington. The Jazz have no injury concerns at the moment, which is part of the reason why they have been so successful. Washington, on the other hand, could be missing Bradley Beal, Taj Gibson, Kristaps Porzingis and Delon Wright. This one may not be competitive at all.

Toronto Raptors ML over Indiana Pacers (+100)

The Raptors are playing the second game of a back-to-back situation, but O.G. Anunoby was the only starter who logged at least 30 minutes last night so fatigue should not be much of a factor. Indiana is without one of its standout perimeter defenders in Chris Duarte, which should make easier for Fred VanVleet and Gary Trent Jr. The Pacers have struggled defensively this season, ranking just 27th in defensive rating in the NBA. They have given up at least 115 points in 9 of their last 10 games. Look for Toronto to bounce back from Friday’s high-scoring loss at Oklahoma City.
