Show Bio

Like most Lithuanians, I started watching basketball from the age of six. I'm based out in London and played basketball at the University of Lincoln here in the UK. I had always had an interest in the NBA but things really took off in the summer of 2010. That year Linas Kleiza led Lithuania to 3rd place at the World Championships and signed with the Toronto Raptors to replace the departing Chris Bosh. I've been a Raptors fan since that day and I've not missed a game since. I've been handicapping games for more than a decade, specializing in player props. The NBA playoffs tip off on Saturday with one of the tightest matchups taking place in the Eastern Conference as the #4 seed Cleveland Cavaliers welcome the #5 seed New York Knicks. The Cavaliers have homecourt advantage and they could certainly use it, as the Knicks won the regular-season series 3-1. With neither team involved in the play-ins, they should be well prepared for tonight’s encounter. It should make for a very tense and tightly contested game on ESPN.

Do check out our NBA predictions for all of today’s games. But for now, lets dive into my Knicks vs Cavaliers Same Game Parlay:

Donovan Mitchell over 30.5 points (-113)

Jalen Brunson over 25.5 points (-111)

Quentin Grimes 3+ made threes (+115)

Parlay odds:+687

Donovan Mitchell over 30.5 points (-113)

Donovan Mitchell ended the regular season in spectacular form for the Cleveland Cavaliers. He was able to record 40 or more points in 4 straight games, including 42 points against this New York Knicks team. Look for him to continue his strong showing tonight as the playoffs begin. Mitchell has a history of showing up in the postseason. He averages 28.3 points per playoff game in his career, up from a regular-season average of 24.6. The Knicks had trouble over the last 10 games defending the 3-point line, allowing opponents to make 44.4% of their attempts. That was the worst mark in the league. With Mitchell making above 40% of his shots from there in 4 of his last 6 games, he looks set to take advantage. It should convert into a big scoring night for the guard.

Jalen Brunson over 25.5 points (-111)

Jalen Brunson stepped up for the Knicks the last time these teams faced off, dropping a season-high 48 points. While he may not reach those numbers tonight, he should be a focal point of the offense. Julius Randle is listed as doubtful to play, which could put more of the offensive responsibility on the guard. Tom Thibodeau is likely to shorten his rotations tonight too, so do not be surprised to see Brunson playing over 40 minutes. He will be matched up against Darius Garland, who is not considered big for a point guard. It should allow the Knicks star to get his shot off with relative ease, especially with Mitchell Robinson creating space for him in pick-and-roll situations. Brunson should carry the Knicks tonight.

Quentin Grimes 3+ made threes (+115)

Quentin Grimes has been locked in for the Knicks. Over the last 10 games he is averaging 20 points per game on 48.4% shooting from beyond the arc. It has meant that he has knocked down at least 3 3-pointers in 9 of those games. This looks a great addition to our parlay as a result. Grimes should also benefit from the potential absence of Randle, which would give him a larger role on offense. The Knicks have not been shy to let it go from the perimeter and have ranked 5th in 3-pointers made per game over the last 10 regular-season outings. Look for that to be a focus tonight too, with the hot hand of Grimes being a focal point of that plan.

We also have a Warriors vs Kings SGP for tonight’s final NBA game
