The NFL season has come and gone, so now it’s time for the NBA to take center stage. Another week in the association begins with a huge 11-game slate on Monday, highlighted by a showdown between the Nuggets and Heat on NBA TV. The 76ers, Nets, Knicks, Mavericks, Warriors and Lakers are also taking the court. Here is a look at Monday’s NBA mega parlay.

Knicks -2 (-110)
Mavericks -10.5 alternate spread (+135)
Lakers ML (+120)
NBA parlay odds: +887
For this parlay, we are going with 2 favorites against the spread – 1 on an alternate number – and 1 underdog on the money line. Let’s break down each of the 3 legs.
New York Knicks -2 over Brooklyn Nets (-110)
The biggest Big 3 disaster in the history of the NBA is complete. With Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and James Harden all gone from Brooklyn, it’s the end of an era that was short and not sweet. Now what’s left of the Nets will try to pick up the pieces and be a team that can at least make the playoffs and maybe win a round. What they probably won’t do is win on Monday in New York. Already depleted with Durant and Irving having been moved prior to the trade deadline, Brooklyn will also be missing Seth Curry for this contest. Meanwhile, in their last 6 games, the Knicks have won 4 times and have lost in regulation only once.

Dallas Mavericks -10.5 alternate spread over Minnesota Timberwolves (+135)
Irving’s services now belong to the Mavericks, who are 2-1 since the acquisition with a loss only at Sacramento in overtime (they also won at Sacramento 1 day earlier). The first 2 games with Irving came without Luka Doncic, and Dallas still managed to pick up a road win against the Clippers and then beat the Kings. When both superstars were on the floor this past Saturday, Irving went 11-of-21 for 28 points and Doncic was 11-of-20 for 27 points. They also combined for 16 rebounds and 12 assists. Early returns are positive for the Mavs, who should be able to take advantage of a Minnesota squad that just unloaded D’Angelo Russell to the Lakers.
LA Lakers ML over Portland Trail Blazers (+120)
The Lakers were among the winners at the trade deadline, while the Trail Blazers found themselves in the losers category. Portland didn’t really buy or sell as it lingers a half-game outside the play-in tournament cut line in the Western Conference. The Blazers have lost 3 of their last 4 games, including 2 of their last 3 at home. Los Angeles is coming off a nice victory at Golden State on Saturday, when Russell delivered 15 points, 6 assists and 5 rebounds. As long as LeBron James suits up for this one, a Lakers victory is well within reach. Heck, it might be winnable even if he doesn’t.
