Like most Lithuanians, I started watching basketball from the age of six. I'm based out in London and played basketball at the University of Lincoln here in the UK. I had always had an interest in the NBA but things really took off in the summer of 2010. That year Linas Kleiza led Lithuania to 3rd place at the World Championships and signed with the Toronto Raptors to replace the departing Chris Bosh. I've been a Raptors fan since that day and I've not missed a game since. I've been handicapping games for more than a decade, specializing in player props. There is a monster 10-game NBA slate today. One of the featured games will see time Minnesota Timberwolves taking on the Phoenix Suns. It will be shown live on ESPN at 10:00pm ET and could have major playoff implications. The visitors have won 4 straight games and know that they could reduce the gap to the Suns in 4th to just half a game with a win. Reports indicate that Kevin Durant is close to starting for the hosts. The Suns are undefeated in his 3 appearances so far and will look to keep that run going.

Take a look at my Timberwolves vs Suns Same Game Parlay below, and afterwards remember to check out the rest of our NBA predictions for Wednesday’s 10-game slate.

Karl-Anthony Towns to score 20+ points (-115)

This will be the third game that Karl-Anthony Towns has appeared in since his return from injury. There have been positive signs in those contests as he has already had a 20+ point game and he managed 32 minutes in his last outing. If he similarly has no minutes restriction tonight, he could be set to dominate. Playing power forward against this Phoenix Suns team should give him a major size advantage down low. It could leave him matched up against Kevin Durant, who looks set to return from injury. If that is the case, Towns should be able to dominate in the post due to his bulk. He has been efficient from the perimeter since his return too, not shooting below 44% from 3-point range in either game. Couple that with strong inside scoring and we should see him comfortably clearing the 20-point mark tonight.

Mike Conley to score over 11.5 points (-113)

It is not often that 35-year-old Mike Conley gets matched up against someone his senior. That will be the case tonight as he takes on Chris Paul. With his aging opponent slowing down and being undersized for a point guard, Conley should be well positioned to keep his scoring run going — he has recorded 12 or more points in 6 straight games. In March as a whole, he is averaging 15.7 points per game. The Suns have been in the bottom half of the league in defensive rating over the last 10 games. With 2 bigs in Towns and Rudy Gobert setting screens for him and creating space, look for him to put up points tonight. Especially since he has made at least 40% of his 3-pointers in each of his last 4 games.

Deandre Ayton to record 10+ rebounds (-115)

In his last meeting against Rudy Gobert, Deandre Ayton was able to pull down 11 rebounds. With the size advantage that the Timberwolves will have on the interior tonight, the Suns will need similar output from him. Luckily for him Gobert is not someone who will pull him away from the paint with his shooting ability, allowing him to be around the rim throughout the night. With his size and length, the Frenchman is one of the top 10 offensive rebounders in the NBA. The Suns cannot afford to put someone smaller on him and have Gobert creating second-chance opportunities. Ayton is averaging 10 boards per game this month and you can expect him to keep to those numbers with rebounding being his main focus.
