After playing in probably his best game since returning from injury, Kawhi Leonard and his Clippers host the Minnesota Timberwolves tonight. Tipoff is live at 10:00 pm ET on ESPN, and check out my Same Game Parlay blow.

We also have picks on the side and total for tonight’s 10-game slate, simply head over to our NBA Predictions page to check them out!

But let’s dive into the Wolves vs Clippers game.

Timberwolves Under 108.5 total points (-110)

Paul George to record 4+ assists (-260)

Marcus Morris 3+ made threes (+250)

Same Game Parlay odds: +793

Timberwolves Under 108.5 total points (-110)

Without Karl-Anthony Towns, the Minnesota offense just hasn’t been the same. Tonight the Timberwolves could also potentially be without starting point guard D’Angelo Russell. A somewhat weaker schedule has masked a lot of their flaws offensively, but against a strong Clippers team they will resurface once again. LA ranks 5th in the NBA in defensive efficiency, allowing 107.8 points per 100 possessions, and they just held a historically great Boston Celtics offense to just 93 points. Prior to that the Washington Wizards also scored just 107 points against them. Pace of play should also have a big impact on tonight’s game, as the Clippers are traditionally slow in their home games — ranking just 23rd with an average of just 98.5 possessions per game. In 2 of the last 3 H2H meetings the Clippers successfully held the T’Wolves under 108.5 points, I’m confident a healthy Leonard can contain Anthony Edwards to a low point total.

Paul George to record 4+ assists (-260)

Leonard coming back has inhaled new life into the play of Paul George, as well. Over his last 5 games he is averaging 5.6 assists a night, a full assist more than his 4.6 per game average prior to that. Although he had only 3 against the Celtics in his last game, previously he went over 4 dimes in 4 games straight. He is also on a 5-game streak with 4 or more assists against the Timberwolves, dating back to the 2019-2020 season. Minnesota has been unable to stop opponents from moving the ball this season, ranking just 28th in assists allowed per game with teams averaging 26.6 against them on a nightly basis. In the Timberwolves’ last game they allowed a whopping 32 against the Portland Trail Blazers. This being a home game, I think we’ll see a dominant offensive display by the Clippers and George dishing out 4 assists shouldn’t be too big of an ask really.

Wednesday’s NBA Mega Parlay has +950 odds

Marcus Morris 3+ made threes (+250)

The Timberwolves just got torched from 3-point land by the Trail Blazers, who drained 34 against them in back-to-back games. Damian Lillard had 11 on 17 attempts in the game on Monday, and this is by far the worst team in the league when it comes to defending the perimeter. Minnesota allows 14.2 treys per game for this season and 15.7 per game in their last 3. Percentage wise only the Brooklyn Nets and San Antonio Spurs allow a higher number than Minnesota, and teams are scoring on 37.8% of their attempts against them. This is all really good news for Marcus Morris, who is the 3rd-leading scorer for the Clippers this season. The absence of Norman Powell should also mean a few extra shots for Morris. He is averaging 2.2 triples made per game this month, so even the return of Leonard hasn’t slowed down his production from beyond the arc.  Morris is knocking down 42.3% of his attempts this month, so we are getting really good value at +250 for a bet that is very realistic.
