It’s an action packed night in the association with 28 teams hitting the NBA hardwood as we get ready for the Christmas festivities this weekend. For my Same Game Parlay, I’m focusing on the Bucks vs Nets clash, tipping off at 7.30 pm ET on NBA TV.

Milwaukee Bucks 1 – 10 Win Margin (+220)
This might be the biggest test coming the Nets way since their win streak started 7 games ago. Milwaukee has 2 wins in 3 games following that disastrous loss at Memphis last week, they’ll be eager to bounce back following a tight loss at Cleveland on Wednesday. Giannis Antetokounmpo had another monster night with 45 points and 14 rebounds, but it wasn’t enough. I’m expecting him to get a lot more help from Jrue Holiday tonight, he had just 9 points on 3-for-12 shooting in that game. His defense on Kyrie Irving will be key here, if there’s one lockdown defender that can slow down Kyrie, it’s him. Milwaukee has won 6 of the last 7 meetings between these two teams, the 3 latest have been decided by an average of just 5 points. It promises to be a tight game tonight, but I think the Bucks prevail, possibly even in overtime.

Brook Lopez 3+ Made Threes (+290)
I’ve mentioned the lack of help Giannis is dealing with lately, one of the players that will step up tonight will be the Bucks big man, and former Net, Lopez. He’s been shooting the three-ball really well over the past 9 games at almost 37% which is really good for a player of his size. Over his last 2 games, he’s averaging 3 made threes. Brooklyn is one of the worst home teams in the NBA when it comes to allowing three-pointers. This season teams are averaging 37.7% makes in their building, only 5 teams have a worse number than that. With Khris Middleton still missing, there will be enough shots to go around for Lopez. Nets center Nic Claxton will be focused on stopping Giannis down low, while Lopez spends most of his time on the perimeter in this game.

Kevin Durant Over 29.5 Total Points (-113)
Over his last 9 games, KD is shooting 60% from the field, 40% from three and almost 95% from the free throw line. He’s doing all that while averaging 30.4 points per game, that kind of efficiency on that many points per game hasn’t been seen in the history of our game. I see no reason why that wouldn’t continue tonight, he’s already had a 33-point game against the Bucks this season, despite his team scoring only 99 points in that game. In his last 7 vs Milwaukee, Durant has dropped 33, 26, 29, 32, 32, 42 and 30 points. Middleton not playing means one less elite wing defender to worry about here, and the Bucks will have to focus on slowing him down as a team rather than going one-on-one as that’s a battle nobody in the NBA can win really. KD has cleared this line 8 times in his last 12 games, and I don’t see much risk in backing him to get another 30 piece tonight.
