Milwaukee Bucks 1-10 win margin (+180)
The Bucks have looked sharp with 3 wins in 4 games, all against Eastern Conference opponents. They’ve already lost twice in 3 meetings against the Hawks, so you can count on Antetokounmpo to be extra motivated as they try to avoid losing the regular-season series to Atlanta, something that’s happened only once over the past 5 seasons. It was a strong team effort at MSG against New York on Monday with 7 Bucks players scoring in double figures, but what impressed me more was their effort on defense as they held the Knicks to just 38% shooting from the field and 26% from 3-point land. Milwaukee remain one of the top defensive teams in the league with the 4th-best defensive efficiency. That will be hard to penetrate for Atlanta, especially with no interior presence as Clint Capela remains out. I have the Bucks winning this in a close finish.

Brook Lopez over 1.5 made threes (-102)
With Giannis slowing down a bit offensively, scoring just 31 points combined over his last 2 games, I think it’s fair to expect his teammates to step up a bit more than usual. Brook Lopez is certainly one teammate capable of doing great things offensively. He’s shooting the three-ball an impressive 42.1% in 3 meetings with Atlanta this season while clearing this line twice, while over his last 10 games overall he’s at 32.4% and scoring at least 1 three in every game played in December. He knocked down 3 of them in the win at MSG over the Knicks, so he enters the game in good spirits. Atlanta is allowing 40% of made threes over their last 3 games and with Capela out of the lineup I’m expecting Lopez to spend a decent chunk of his time on offense around the perimeter. We need him to sink only 2 threes for this bet to land, which is perfectly reasonable.
Trae Young to score 30+ points (+165)
Trae Young has been hovering around the 30-point mark for the majority of the season, and right now he’s averaging 29 points per game over his last 9 outings while dramatically improving his efficiency at 46.3% from the field and 39.1% from 3-point land. He had one of his best games against Milwaukee this season, averaging 31.5 points, while shooting 46.7% from 3-point land. He’s also scored at least 29 points in 7 of his last 10 outings, although he has to deal with Jrue Holiday tonight I still have faith in him. The Hawks will revert to a higher tempo offense with Capela out of the lineup. That worked to perfection against the Clippers in their last game, with Young finishing the game with 30. With him scoring at least 30 in 3 of 4 games, we’re still getting a pretty solid price for that to happen in tonight’s game.
