The Heat and 76ers will play each other tonight for the third and final time in the regular season. Each team has won a road game so far, but will we see that trend change? The Sixers finally got the monkey off their back as they were able to beat the Boston Celtics for the first time in 4 meetings this season. Although the #3 seed is pretty much wrapped up, I don’t expect them to take their foot off the gas pedal tonight. They’ve split their games with Miami. with each team winning a road game, so I think it’s time we finally see a home team dominate one of these matchups. The Heat have been unreliable on the road this season, winning just 16 of 39 games while covering the spread in just 15. As underdogs they are 6-16 SU and in Philadelphia they’re just 5-13 SU in their last 18 visits. Meanwhile, Joel Embiid and co. have gone 5-1 SU in their last 6 home games and 12-5 SU in their last 17 overall. There are minor injuries to both rosters, but the most important news is that both Embiid and James Harden are healthy and ready to go, the 76ers should be able to dominate this game.

Joel Embiid to score 40+ points (+450)
We just witnessed Embiid scoring more than half of his team’s points in a low-scoring 103-101 win over Boston. The big fella shot 20-for-25 from the field, so why not bet on him to have another big scoring game tonight? Especially since the news coming out of the Miami Heat camp is saying that there’s a chance Bam Adebayo won’t be able to suit up. That means very little paint resistance for Embiid to go through. His team might also need an extra lift offensively with P.J. Tucker, De’Anthony Melton and Tyrese Maxey potentially not playing. The last time he played Miami he finished with a modest 27 points, but over his last 10 outings he has scored at least 37 points a total of 4 times. He’s shooting the ball at a very efficient 58.3% from the field while also making 87% of his free throws on 11.3 attempts per game. He is not the odds-on favorite to win the MVP award, but another massive performance in a win over Miami wouldn’t hurt him.
