Show Bio

Like most Lithuanians, I started watching basketball from the age of six. I'm based out in London and played basketball at the University of Lincoln here in the UK. I had always had an interest in the NBA but things really took off in the summer of 2010. That year Linas Kleiza led Lithuania to 3rd place at the World Championships and signed with the Toronto Raptors to replace the departing Chris Bosh. I've been a Raptors fan since that day and I've not missed a game since. I've been handicapping games for more than a decade, specializing in player props. The Denver Nuggets could not find themselves in a better position. Leading the NBA Finals 3-1, they get to return home with the prospect of winning their first NBA championship in front of their own fans. This Miami Heat team has however proved during the playoffs that they are no pushovers and are more than capable of pulling off a surprise. A win tonight and a return to Miami should certainly not be out of the question. After all, they split the first 2 games in Denver.

Kyle Lowry to score 10+ points (-104)

Kyle Lowry has been carving a larger role for himself on the Heat as the series has gone on. He has seen his minutes rise in 3 consecutive games, reaching 33 in his latest outing. Look for him to play a similarly large role tonight. Lowry has earned this time through efficient scoring and in the series he has made 41.2% of his 3-point attempts and is yet to miss a free throw. That level of efficiency has meant that his lowest points total through 4 games is 9. With a larger role, he should be able to surpass that mark. The Heat point guard has a bulky frame which can help him create space in the paint. With Nikola Jokic lacking mobility on the perimeter, Lowry should be able to attack him in pick-and-roll situations to get to the basket. Look for him to score in double digits if he does.

Jamal Murray over 8.5 assists (+100)

Nuggets point guard Jamal Murray has emerged as the best playmaker in this series. In the NBA Finals he is averaging 10.5 assists per game, having hit the over on this line in each of the contests. With Nikola Jokic being a major mismatch for the Heat, it gives Murray a terrific target to pick out. With his soft touch around the rim and the ability to create space on his fadeaways over smaller opponents, Jokic should be able to continue converting Murray’s passes. It is hard to see a major drop-off from the point guard in this department tonight as a result.

Bruce Brown Jr. to score 10+ points (-210)

Bruce Brown Jr. has emerged as one of the key rotation pieces for the Nuggets in the NBA Finals. His 21-point outburst in Game 4 was the third time in 4 games in which he hit double-digit points. With his minutes going up game-on-game too, it would not be surprising to see him playing for over 30 tonight. Considering that Brown is making 53.1% of his field-goal attempts this series, he should be well-placed to convert his opportunities. With Jokic being able to pull Bam Adebayo away from the rim, there should be plenty of space in behind for Brown to cut to the rim. He is one of the best players on the Nuggets roster in doing just that and should be able to put together another big performance.
