Memphis Grizzlies ML over Philadelphia 76ers (+140)
Although they won the first meeting of the season fairly convincingly and are 6-4 SU over the past 10 meetings (including 4-1 SU over the last 5), the Grizzlies enter this game as 4-point underdogs. That’s probably due to the fact they’ve lost 7 games in a row away from home, but after seeing them head into the All-Star break with 3 wins in 4 games I really believe they have a solid chance at ending that run in Philadelphia. They’ve beaten 14 of their last 17 Eastern Conference opponents and they’re also the healthier team entering this game.
Joel Embiid is still bothered by a foot injury that has slowed him down a bit over the recent couple of weeks, he did participate in the ASG but he clearly wasn’t himself. He did have 35 points in the first meeting in Memphis, but the Grizzlies are one team against which he hasn’t produced big numbers over the years. Both teams might come out a bit rusty after not playing for so long, but I think overall the Grizzlies have the better team here and they should edge out the Sixers in a tight one.

Tobias Harris to score 15+ points (+110)
Harris has been steadily producing for the 76ers all season long, be it as a 3rd option or even as the 4th option on some nights. He’s 4th on the team in scoring averaging 15.4 points per game, at home that number jumps up to 16.3 per game. He is way more efficient as well when playing in front of the Philly faithful, shooting at a 52% clip from the field and 40.7% from three, while also knocking down 90% of his free throw attempts.
The first meeting of the season against Memphis was one of his better games this season, he had 21 points and 11 rebounds, while also knocking down 5 threes. The Grizzlies three-point defense has been questionable over the past 3 games with them allowing 38.7% of made shots, so that’s one thing Harris can take advantage of coming out of the break. He’s cleared this line in 5 of his games vs the Grizz, averaging 21.2 points per game during that stretch, so I think we’re getting a really solid price for a bet that usually lands.

Ja Morant over 8.5 assists (+108)
Morant didn’t have the most productive of games at All-Star weekend finishing with just 6 points in 20 minutes played, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. The point-guard got some well-earned rest over the past 7 days, so he should be ready to go at full speed here. Memphis hasn’t played all that well on the road lately, but with a big performance from Morant they have every right to hope for a win over the 76ers here.
I really like his match-up against James Harden here, as the Beard doesn’t put up much effort on the defensive end so I’m expecting both of them to put up big numbers. Ja’s assist average has gone up to 10 a game over his last 9 outings, with him clearing this line a total of 6 times. The Memphis offense was clicking vs Philadelphia in the first meeting of the season when they finished with 117 points, so hopefully players like Jaren Jackson Jr., Desmond Bane and Dillon Brooks answer the call here when Morant finds them open.
