The Memphis Grizzlies are in Boston to take on the Celtics for their 2nd and final meeting this season. Tip-off is at 2 pm ET on ABC and I’ve prepared a Same Game Parlay which you can find below.
We also have predictions on the side and total for Detroit Pistons vs Toronto Raptors on our NBA Predictions page, feel free to check those out as well!

Boston Celtics 1-10 win Margin over Memphis Grizzlies (+170)
The Cs opened as 4-point favorites here, they’ve covered that line 4 times in their last 5 games and in 21 of 29 games played at TD Garden this season. Right now they are missing important players like Marcus Smart, Jaylen Brown and possibly even Malcolm Brogdon, but they’ve been dominant in head-to-head meetings against the Grizzlies so that might not even matter here. The Celtics are 13-1 SU in the last 14 played, they’ve also covered the spread 10 times during that stretch vs Memphis and in games played at home they are currently on an 8-game win streak.
The Grizzlies also have a key player out, Steven Adams hasn’t played since January 23rd and without him in the line-up the Grizzlies have a losing record. Their interior defense has suffered a lot during this stretch, teams are averaging 53.7 rebounds a night against them in their last 3 games which is the 6th worst mark in the entire NBA. I am expecting a close game though, but the Celtics should take care of business in the clutch in front of the home fans.
Derrick White 2+ made threes (-240)
White’s role has increased dramatically over the last 10 games. He’s averaging 17.9 points per game which is a huge increase compared to his season average of just 11.3 per game. His efficiency is up across the board during that stretch – from the field he’s shooting over 50%, from the perimeter he’s at 45% and from the charity stripe he’s knocking down almost 89% of his shots. He’s cleared this line in 9 games in a row, against the Charlotte Hornets on Friday he had a career night draining 8 threes on 14 attempts. When you have a player that’s in this form, you just have to roll with the hot hand.
Memphis has been far from impressive in defending the three-point line in games on the road this season. Opponents are averaging 38.4% of makes against them from deep in those games, so hopefully White can continue his stellar shooting here.

Ja Morant over 8.5 assists (+116)
Morant has been taking his point guard duties very seriously over the last 8 games averaging 10.3 assists a night which is an increase of 2 assist per game compared to his season average. He went for 30 points and 9 dimes in the first meeting of the season with the Celtics, which was the 3rd time in 4 games against them that he has cleared this line. Boston is one of the better teams at stopping the opponent’s ball movement this season, but with two really good defenders in Smart and Brown out of the line-up, there will be a lot less on-ball pressure for Morant to deal with here. He’s successfully cleared this line in 5 of his last 7 games, I wouldn’t be surprised he went for double digit assists here, but let’s play it a bit safer and go for 9 dimes.
