The second battle of Los Angeles takes place tonight as the Lakers clash with the Clippers once more. The Clippers will be at home, which could make things more challenging for the Lakers, not having their home crowd in the building. With the hosts winners of 8 straight games in this matchup, it has been fairly one-sided of late. Let’s jump straight into my selections for this Lakers vs Clippers Same Game Parlay.
LeBron James to record a triple-double (+830)
Ivica Zubac to record a double-double (+125)

LeBron James to record a triple-double (+830)
In the first meeting between these teams this season, LeBron James put together a double-double performance. He was able to record 20 points along with 10 rebounds and 6 assists. That was with Russell Westbrook in the starting lineup. Now with the guard having dropped to the bench to lead the second unit, James will not have to share ball-handling responsibilities with anyone. As a result, you can expect an improvement on his assists numbers tonight. The Clippers have recently given up a 12-assist game to Darius Garland. With Ivica Zubac in the paint chasing blocks, James should have similar opportunities to dish the ball down to his bigs.
Rebounds-wise, there should be plenty to go around tonight. These teams rank 29th and 30th in the league in offensive rating this season. While on the defensive front, they are 4th and 12th respectively. Considering that the Lakers lead the league in pace, both offenses should see the number of possessions they have inflate, which would lead to more missed shots. With James having recorded 10 or more rebounds in 2 of his last 3 games, he could be set to do so once more tonight, especially considering he has already achieved this against the Clippers this season. James is good value to get his first triple-double of the season.

Ivica Zubac to record a double-double (+125)
Zubac went off for a combined 31 points and rebounds when these teams first met, recording a double-double in the process. It is an output he has only been able to better once since then when he managed 32 against the San Antonio Spurs. The Croatian has been consistent in scoring the ball this year, managing double digits in 8 of his 11 games, including in his last 3 games. With the Lakers giving up the 23rd-most second-chance points in the NBA, Zubac should be able to create his own scoring opportunities here. Scoring 10 or more should not be a major issue for the center tonight.
As already mentioned, there will be rebounding opportunities for both sides here in part due to how inefficient these offenses have been. Zubac will be further helped by the fact that he will go up against Anthony Davis. The Lakers star has struggled with his jump shot this season. He is knocking down 28.6% of his attempts from deep and 26.1% from the mid-range. As a result, there is no reason for Zubac to close out and contest these shots, abandoning the rebounding position in the process. The Clippers’ center should have a major impact on the glass tonight.
