Anthony Davis to score 30+ points (+220)
This is the perfect game for Anthony Davis to make a statement with a massive performance. LeBron James’s foot injury isn’t getting any better and he’s scored only 21, 13 and 13 points over his last 3 outings, and with D’Angelo Russell most likely missing this game, it will be up to AD to carry the Lakers offensively. Dallas has struggled defensively in recent games, allowing 64.7 points per game inside the paint, which is 29th in the league over the last 3 games. They’re just not equipped to deal with opposing centers and AD’s length will be a problem for them to defend. Dominating on the inside isn’t all that Davis does, though, as he’s more than capable of stepping outside and knocking down the three-ball, so the Mavs will have their hands full dealing with him. It’s been 20 days since he scored 30 points in a game, so I’m expecting a breakout performance from Davis.

Malik Beasley 3+ made threes (-175)
Although he has played only 4 games for the Lakers and started in just 2 of them, Malik Beasley is already 4th on the team in scoring. I’d argue he has made the best impression out of all the players they acquired before the trade deadline, scoring 20+ points in 2 of his 4 appearances in the purple and gold. He’s been particularly impressive when shooting from beyond the arc, making 3.3 shots per game from deep in February and clearing this line in 4 of 7 games. In the game against Golden State on Thursday he went 7-for-11 from three in just 26 minutes played, providing the Lakers with instant offense just when they needed it the most. Losing Russell and his 15 points per game isn’t ideal for LA, so they’ll need Beasley to step up once more.

Josh Green over 10.5 points (-125)
Josh Green has upped his game significantly over the last 10 he has played, averaging 14.1 points on better than 53% shooting. His efficiency is even better when he plays at home, shooting 62% from the field and over 49% from three. With those type of numbers he has a really good chance of getting to 11 points today. We’re expecting a high-scoring game tonight at American Airlines Center as the Lakers are one of the worst defensive teams in the league and they also play at the 3rd-fastest pace, so look for Green to take full advantage of that. With all eyes being on Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving, Green should be able to get his points under the radar. Getting rid of Patrick Beverley will cost the Lakers down the line as he was one of their better one-on-one defenders and they could definitely use him in situations like this. I’m counting on Green to get to his average in this one.
