NBA Golden State Warriors vs Milwaukee Bucks Predictions, Odds, Spreads & Betting Lines: Who wins Steph Curry vs Giannis Antetokounmpo?

Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry (30) dribbles against Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo (34) during the third quarter at Chase Center.

We have 5 NBA games to look forward to tonight, but by far the standout matchup of those is between the Golden State Warriors and Milwaukee Bucks. The Bucks have been on a tear this season and will look to make a statement against the NBA champs. However, things have not gone great for the Warriors so far, but they can bounce back and put the league on notice by taking down Milwaukee. Our NBA expert has picks, predictions and best bets for this huge Warriors vs Bucks matchup, so let’s dive in.

Don’t miss any of our NBA predictions for each of tonight’s 5 games

Golden State Warriors vs Milwaukee Bucks prediction

The Bucks have been a real powerhouse in the NBA this season and there is every chance that continues tonight at Fiserv Forum. The Warriors are getting back to the form that won them the championship last season, but they’re still not quite there yet and face one hell of a test against a Milwaukee team that is oozing confidence right now. All things considered, this Bucks team might be too much for Steph Curry and the Warriors to overcome.

Golden State Warriors vs Milwaukee Bucks expert picks

We’ve got 2 standout NBA picks for tonight’s game between the Warriors and Bucks.

Warriors vs Bucks point spread pick: Bucks -4 (-110)

The win over Boston is exactly the confidence boost these Warriors needed, after back-to-back losses against Indiana and Utah prior to that. Klay and Steph combined to score 66 points, including 10 threes, while Jordan Poole added 20 in the absence of Andrew Wiggins. However, tonight’s game against the Bucks will be a completely new challenge. On the road, the Warriors are just 2-11 SU this season, beating only Minnesota and Houston. They have covered in 4 of the last 6 games against the Bucks, however in the underdog role they are just 1-6 SU in 7 games this season.

It was an odd game by Milwaukee in their last outing against the Houston Rockets, as they fell on the road 97-92. Giannis had only 16 points, which is very unusual for him. He did dominate the boards though with 18 of them, but I’m expecting a higher production from him on the offensive end in tonight’s game. At 12-3 SU, the Bucks are one of the more consistent home teams in the league this season, they’ve also won 8 of their last 11 games vs Western Conference opponents and 12 of 16 vs Pacific Division teams. Jrue Holiday is questionable with an illness, so I’d keep an eye on that before making any bets here.

Assuming Holiday plays, this should be all Milwaukee. The Bucks won the last 2 home games against Golden State by 19 and 39 points. Giannis needs a bounce back performance after the embarrassing loss at Houston, don’t be surprised if he goes for 40 here. Take Milwaukee to cover.

Warriors vs Bucks Over/Under totals pick: Under 232.5 (-110)

This total is a bit too much for my taste, even if we have the fastest-paced team playing here. Golden State averages 105.3 possessions per game this season, but let’s not forget they are going up against a Bucks defense ranking 2nd in efficiency allowing just 105.8 points per 100 possessions. Milwaukee’s pace in home games ranks in the middle of the pack at 99.9 possessions per game, so they might look into slowing things down a bit here. Only one of their last 5 games has seen more than 231.5 points and that was a home game against the high-scoring Kings. With the last 10 meetings averaging just 221.2 points per game, I think backing the under is the best way to approach tonight’s clash.
