Show Bio

Like most Lithuanians, I started watching basketball from the age of six. I'm based out in London and played basketball at the University of Lincoln here in the UK. I had always had an interest in the NBA but things really took off in the summer of 2010. That year Linas Kleiza led Lithuania to 3rd place at the World Championships and signed with the Toronto Raptors to replace the departing Chris Bosh. I've been a Raptors fan since that day and I've not missed a game since. I've been handicapping games for more than a decade, specializing in player props. There are 9 games on the NBA slate on Friday night to start our weekends. Of those there will be 2 nationally televised games on ESPN. To begin the night, the Golden State Warriors will be looking to end their road woes as they take on the San Antonio Spurs. That will be followed by a clash between the Denver Nuggets and the Los Angeles Clippers. The Nuggets are currently leading the Western Conference and will hope to keep things that way with a road win.

Before jumping into my mega parlay for the nights action, check out our NBA predictions for all of tonight’s games.

Sacramento Kings -9.5 (-110)

Sacramento Kings -9.5 (-110) over Houston Rockets

Over the last 10 games, the Houston Rockets have maintained a league-worst net offensive and defensive rating of -11.1. They are not even close to the team ranked 29th, whose rating is -7.2. The Sacramento Kings are 14th in that category. It should be more than enough to dominate against a team that is so out of form. After all, the hosts have been 2nd in offensive rating in the league.

Domantas Sabonis came just one assist shy of a triple-double in the last outing between the teams. With the Rockets not utilizing a center that could discourage him from posting up, look for the Lithuanian to dictate this game once more. Kevin Porter Jr. is also out for the visitors to make matters worse. With the Kings winning 135-115 against the Rockets earlier this week, it’s hard to see anything but another dominant win for the hosts tonight.

Oklahoma City Thunder ML (+154) over Chicago Bulls

With DeMar DeRozan listed as doubtful to play for the Chicago Bulls, tonight’s game could turn into a straight shootout between Zach LaVine and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. Considering that the Bulls guard is dealing with a right-hand contusion, it could be advantage SGA. The hosts are on a 2-game losing streak and have been close to .500 at home this season, winning 11 of their 20 games. With this visiting Oklahoma City Thunder team 5th in net offensive and defensive rating over the last 10 games, they should have a real chance of coming away with a win here. That would be especially true if their defense is allowed to focus on just a single-wing threat from the Bulls.

San Antonio Spurs ML (+295) over Golden State Warriors

The San Antonio Spurs are far from a great team this season, but tonight they will get to welcome the worst road team in the NBA. The Warriors have just 3 wins from 19 games away from home, with a points differential of -10.1 in those efforts. While Golden State has welcomed back Steph Curry and Andrew Wiggins from injury, rust should still be an issue for both players. It may take time for the offense to adjust to them too, with the focal point of it shifting away from Jordan Poole.

Their defense could have similar issues when it comes to incorporating them. That fact was evident when the Warriors gave up 125 points at home to the Phoenix Suns in their last outing. That team was without Chris Paul, Deandre Ayton and Devin Booker. It feels like it is the perfect time for the Spurs to be welcoming this team to their court at the Alamodome.
