Cleveland Cavaliers -5.5 (-110) over New York Knicks

This parlay starts off in Cleveland, where we have the hometown Cavs trying to even the regular-season series against the shorthanded Knicks. Despite a loss in Atlanta a couple of days ago, the Cavaliers will be in good spirits ahead of tonight’s game as they have a comfortable situation in the standings. This will most likely be a preview of the first round of the East playoffs as the Cavs and Knicks are locked into the 4th and 5th seeds. The big advantage for the Cavs, aside from playing at home, will be the injury to Julius Randle, who has twisted his ankle and won’t be available for at least 2 weeks. New York’s iron man has played in all 77 games up to this point, so it’ll be interesting to see how they cope with his absence. Last year they were just 5-5 SU in 10 games he missed, it might take a few games for them to get used to life without him. The Cavaliers should be able to beat them comfortably just because of that. The Cavs are 5-1 SU in their last 6 home games, and also 4-1 SU/ATS in their last 5 overall.

Sacramento Kings -14.5 (-110) over Portland Trail Blazers

Shutting down Damian Lillard was the final nail in the coffin of the Trail Blazers’ slim hopes of making it into the Western Conference play-in tournament. With Dame out of the way they’re basically waiving the white flag on a nightly basis and in 3 of their last 4 games they have failed to crack the 100-point mark. These teams played each other just 2 nights ago and the Kings routed the Blazers 120-80 at Moda Center. I don’t think a lot will change in tonight’s game as Sacramento is still motivated to play well and get the win as they’re battling the Memphis Grizzlies for the #2 seed. There are no injuries reported on their side and if the game gets out of hand early head coach Mike Brown will be able to rest a few starters. With Lillard, Jerami Grant, Jusuf Nurkic, Justise Winslow, Cam Reddish and Anfernee Simons all out, Portland is basically a G-League team right now, so I expect the Kings to dominate this matchup once again.

Denver Nuggets ML (+290) over Phoenix Suns

To close out our parlay we have the Denver Nuggets winning at Phoenix. You might be wondering why we’re getting such good odds for this bet, well as I’m writing this the big man Nikola Jokic is questionable for tonight’s game, as he did not suit up in last night’s loss to New Orleans. My belief is that he intentionally sat out that game so that he can be ready for tonight’s matchup with Kevin Durant and the Suns. Phoenix is still undefeated when their prized acquisition plays for them this season at 4-0. KD didn’t have the best of games on Wednesday in his home debut, scoring just 16 points on 5-for-18 from the field. It might take some time for everything to set in place for the Suns, so they might run into problems against a consistent team like the Nuggets. Denver has been solid against the spread all year and the Nuggets also have a winning record on the road and lead the regular-season series 2-0 against the Suns. If Jokic returns, I really like their chances, so why not take advantage of the massive odds while they’re there?
