The Cleveland Cavaliers have just claimed a win over the Los Angeles Lakers and will be looking to complete their dominance of the city by taking on the Clippers tonight. However, the hosts have some injury concerns heading into this one, but with a superstar talent like Paul George on their roster, they can never be written off.

Paul George has been in terrific form for the Los Angeles Clippers, recording 30 or more points in 3 of his last 4 games. The one effort in which he failed to do so was against the Houston Rockets, where he still dropped 28. With Kawhi Leonard out, John Wall resting and Reggie Jackson and Luke Kennard both dealing with injuries, George will have to carry the Clippers offense once more.
The Cavaliers have recently given up a couple of 30-point games to Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown. Paul George has a very similar offensive skillset and could follow in their footsteps. His opponents tonight do not possess the greatest length at the wing positions, with Donovan Mitchell and Caris LeVert being relatively undersized compared to the Clippers superstar. That should allow George to have success getting his shot off tonight. The ball will be in his hands tonight, as his team’s primary scorer. Expect him to get enough field goal attempts to continue his hot streak.

Darius Garland to record 10+ assists (+250)
Darius Garland has quickly established himself as one of the best playmakers in the NBA. While he will be going up against a Clippers squad that allow the 8th fewest assists in the league, it should not be too much of a hinderance to the guard. He is coming of a recent 12-assist performance against the Boston Celtics, who allow the 4th fewest in the NBA. The Clippers are likely to use Reggie Jackson against him here. However, with him dealing with a knee injury, he could have trouble staying in front of Garland tonight. That is likely to open passing opportunities as he draws attention from help defenders.
The Clippers are in the top 10 in the league in blocks per game. Ivica Zubac is currently 2nd in the league among players in that category. Expect him to be the one going for the blocks, leaving Jarrett Allen as a primary lob threat for Garland to look out for. Not only that, but he will also have Donovan Mitchell to look out for. Norman Powell has one of the worst defensive rating on the Clippers squad this season. Do not be surprised to see the Cavaliers run Mitchell on off the ball screens to get him open looks when matched up against him.
