Ben Simmons goes back to Philadelphia for the second time since the big trade went down. This time around he gets to face both Joel Embiid and James Harden — unlike in the first meeting, when they were out injured. Tipoff is at 7.30 pm ET on ESPN and I have prepared a Nets vs 76ers Same Game Parlay, which you can find below.

We have picks on the side and total for all 10 games tonight on our NBA predictions page, don’t forget o check them out.

Philadelphia 76ers 1-10 win margin (+170)

The 76ers are playing their best basketball of the season. Philadelphia got off to a slow start to the 2022-23 campaign, but it has been clicking in recent weeks to the tune of 8 wins over its last 10 games. Sitting at 4th in defensive rating and 7th in offensive rating, this team is looking like the preseason championship contender that many thought it would be. The same could have been said for the Nets prior to the injury to Kevin Durant. Brooklyn has gone through periods of inconsistency in Durant’s absence but is still a formidable opponent. With that said, Brooklyn’s weakness is clearing the glass — which doesn’t bode well against Joel Embiid and this Philadelphia frontcourt. The Sixers have had an extended rest since returning from a 5-0 west coast trip and I expect that momentum to continue on Tuesday. L

Ben Simmons to record 10+ assists (+310)

If the Nets are to lose tonight it probably won’t be because of Ben Simmons. He has been quite reliable in the assists department over his last 5 games, collecting more than 10 of them on 3 occasions. He also had a really solid game against Philadelphia in his first homecoming earlier this season with 11 dimes; I’m expecting a similar performance tonight when he faces his good buddy and former teammate Embiid for the first time. The points probably won’t be there, as Simmons is averaging just 7.5 per game this season, but by now the Nets are used to that. I do expect him to get others involved, though. Kyrie Irving in particular has been red hot, scoring 38 and 48 over his last 2 games. If Simmons can get his shooters going, it will likely be a competitive game. As a team the Nets have shot 54% and 53% in their last 2 wins over the Warriors and Jazz while getting 30 and 26 assists in those games.
