Brook Lopez has been the Bucks’ most consistent player this season, starting all 55 games that he’s played in. He’s coming off a 22-point night against the LA Clippers over the weekend, which was the second time in his last 3 games he was able to score over 20, so I really like his chances of achieving that goal in tonight’s game as well. His scoring average has gone up from 13.4 points per game in January to 14.6 in February, and against the Celtics he had 16 points earlier this season while shooting an unreal 87% from the field and making 50% of his threes. In 3 of his last 4 games against them he’s scored 17, 15 and 16 points. Being one of the more versatile big men in the league also helps him, as he has the size advantage over Horford and Williams on the inside, but he can also hurt the Cs from the perimeter as he’s shooting 38% from three in home games this season. If this game gets out of hand early and the stars head to the bench, I can definitely see Lopez carrying the offense for long stretches.

Giannis Antetokounmpo under 13.5 rebounds (-125)
Giannis has been reliable on the boards, but he’s failed to reach 14 rebounds in 3 straight games and in 5 of his last 8. Fortunately for the Bucks, that hasn’t had a negative effect on their winning as their win streak has now reached double digits. Interestingly enough, in games against the Celtics in the regular season he hasn’t had dominant performances on the glass for a while. You have to go way back to July 2020 to find a game in which he cleared this line against Boston. Since then he has played them 7 times, so the numbers aren’t working in his favor. Over their last 3 games the Celtics have allowed just 47.3 rebounds per game which ranks them inside the top-10 best defenses in the league. With this game potentially being a blowout, Giannis might play fewer minutes too, so I think going under his total is worth a bet tonight.
