Tyler Herro 4+ made threes (+210)
It appears that the shooting slump is behind Tyler Herro as he knocked down 4 threes in Miami’s win over the Pelicans. Prior to that game he had been unable to hit a three in back-to-back games. He finished the game with 26 points, which is around the 24.3 points per game average he’s had in 3 meetings with the Boston Celtics this season. His shooting splits in those games are quite impressive at 50% from the field, 45% from three and 100% from the charity stripe. I wasn’t at all impressed with the way Boston defended the perimeter in the game against Orlando, allowing 40.7% of threes to be made. The Celtics have struggled over their last 3 games, giving up 36.7% of threes, and Herro is the main weapon Miami has from distance in tonight’s game, so I’m expecting him to step up and knock down at least 4 shots from distance.

Jimmy Butler to record 8+ rebounds (+240)
Having a strong presence on the boards at the shooting guard position is always confidence-inspiring for the rest of the team. In the 2 games against the Celtics this season Jimmy Butler is averaging 11 rebounds, and with Herro presumably cooking on offense I think Butler will have to focus more on defending Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum in this one. That worked to perfection in the game played in Boston in early December, when Tatum was limited to just 5-for-18 shooting from the field, finishing the game with just 14 points. Out of the 15 rebounds Butler collected that night, 6 of them came at the offensive end which provided a much-needed boost for an otherwise very thin front line. Bam Adebayo is the only player the Heat can consistently rely on when it comes to rebounding, and I’m expecting a strong defensive effort from both teams which, in theory, should result in more rebounding opportunities and Butler can answer the call.
