It’s a busy Wednesday night in the NBA with 22 teams playing and an ESPN doubleheader coming our way. It all tips off at 7:30 pm ET with the Cleveland Cavaliers hosting the Boston Celtics, and for this occasion, I’ve prepared a Same Game Parlay which you can find below. Make sure you also read our NBA Predictions for picks on the side and total for tonight’s 11-game slate. But for now, let’s dive into our Celtics vs Cavs Same Game Parlay.
Boston Celtics 1-10 win margin (+185)
Jaylen Brown 3+ made threes (+124)
Al Horford to record 6+ rebounds (-260)
Parlay odds: +750
Boston Celtics 1-10 win margin over Cleveland Cavaliers (+185)
There are plenty of reasons to back the Celtics to win on the road tonight. The Cavaliers just beat them on their own court on Friday, which was Boston’s first loss of the season at TD Garden, so the revenge factor is there. Boston has also been better in head-to-head meetings in recent years, winning 11 of the last 15, plus they’ve been really impressive on the road as they’ve covered in 21 of their last 30 outings.
In Cleveland’s win over Boston last week, they got 41 points from Caris LeVert, which is unlikely to happen again tonight. Cleveland has been lights out from three-point land, averaging 42.7% of makes from distance, but that has to cool down eventually. They could also be getting Darius Garland back into their lineup, which could mess up their chemistry in the short term. I’m expecting another close game, but the Eastern Conference champs should have enough experience to get one back over the surprisingly good Cavaliers.

Jaylen Brown 3+ made threes (+124)
Brown has been an absolute stud for the Celtics in the 6 games played this season, picking up right where he left off last year in the NBA Finals. He is only 2nd to Jayson Tatum in scoring on the team, averaging 25.3 per game, which he has increased from 23.6 last season. His efficiency has remained around the same and he’s making 2.5 threes per game on 7.3 attempts. He just dropped 32 points on the Cavaliers a couple of nights ago in the loss at home, and over the past 5 games, he is averaging 32.2 points per game against them while making 3.4 threes a game on an impressive 41.5% efficiency.
The Cavs are a bottom 10 team when it comes to opponent three-point percentage, allowing 35.7% of shots made. After seeing the two teams combine for 228 points in regulation and 255 after overtime in their last meeting just a few days ago, I believe tonight’s game has the potential to be a high scoring one. If that’s the case then Brown could go off here.
Al Horford to record 6+ rebounds (-260)
The lack of rebounding has been the main reason why the Celtics have been poor on the defensive end early in the season. Only 2 teams average fewer rebounds than they do at 48.3 per game, which will need to be addressed moving forward. Good things generally happen when you outrebound your opponent and we saw that in their win over Washington the other day when they won the battle on the boards 51-47. Al Horford played a major part in that with a season-high 8 boards, 6 of which came on the defensive end.
Finishing with just 2 rebounds against the Cavs on Friday is unacceptable and a veteran player like Horford is certainly aware of that. Prior to that, he had gone over 6 rebounds in 2 games in a row against Cleveland. With Robert Williams out of the lineup, Horford will have to assert himself more on the boards tonight, especially when he goes up against the likes of Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley. Cleveland ranks only 13th in the NBA in defensive rebounds per game, so that could be something he can take advantage of on his way to getting 6 boards.
