Boston won the first meeting of the season against Atlanta by 25 points, but with just 1 win in their last 4 games the Celtics travel to State Farm Arena to take on a Hawks team on a mini 2-game win streak. Atlanta Hawks ML (+154)
Beating the Washington Wizards in back-to-back games is huge for the Atlanta Hawks, especially since they lost their previous 2 games to the team they’re currently chasing in the standings, the Miami Heat. Trae Young performed really well in those wins, scoring 56 points and dishing out a total of 19 assists, and he has scored 30+ points in 2 of the last 3 meetings with Boston, so I’m expecting him to be on top of his game tonight. The Celtics are 4.5-point favorites, but with just 1 win in their last 4 games, this might be Atlanta’s best chance of beating them in a while. The Hawks are a much better home team compared to when they play on the road, and they’ve beaten the Celtics in 3 of the last 4 meetings at State Farm Arena. No Robert Williams III down low leaves a big gap for the Hawks to exploit, but after seeing them knock down 15 and 12 threes in their last 2 games they might not even need to attack the basket if their solid shooting continues. Boston has been far from convincing lately, so let’s back the home underdogs to win outright.

Al Horford 3+ made threes (+190)
The recent resurrection of Al Horford has been one of the feelgood stories of the NBA season. The 36-year old, playing in his 16th season, no longer has a vital role on this Celtics roster, but if you only started watching Boston’s games 2 weeks ago you’d find that hard to believe. Big Al is averaging 14.2 points per game in his last 9 outings on insane efficiency both from the field and from three. Our focus is on the three-ball as he’s averaging 3.6 makes a night in those 9 games while knocking down 59.3% of his attempts. Playing his old team, I think Horford will be eager to continue his solid shooting run, especially since the Hawks 3-point defense has plummeted during the last 3 games with opponents shooting 41.2% against them. In 2 of his last 3 meetings with them he’s scored 2 threes, given his recent shooting form I think it’s fairly reasonable to back him to drain at least 3 shots tonight.
