Going down 3-0 is not an option for the Atlanta Hawks as they host the Boston Celtics tonight at State Farm Arena. Tip-off is at 7:00 pm ET on ESPN, and I’ve prepared a Same Game Parlay to make things even more interesting than they already are.

Atlanta Hawks 1-10 win margin (+280)
In many ways this is the game of the season for the Atlanta Hawks. In my NBA Playoffs first-round series Predictions I picked Boston to lead 2-1 after 3 games and I will stick by that prediction. Yes, Boston has looked invincible over the first 2 games, but only because the Hawks allowed them to. With the series now switching to State Farm Arena for the next 2 games, I think we’ll see a different strategy from head coach Quin Snyder. Shooting the ball has been a struggle for the Hawks, who shot 38% in Game 1 and 42% in Game 2, so they’ll need to address that by improving their ball movement. During the regular season they had the 2nd-fastest pace of all teams when playing at home, so maybe they can speed things up to give themselves a better chance of winning. They had a 24-17 SU record at State Farm Arena during the regular season and the crowd will be up for it knowing their team needs a lift at 2-0 down. Boston is on a 7-0 ATS/SU run in the teams’ last 7 meetings, but all streaks have to come to an end at some point. I’ll back Atlanta to win a 7th home game in the last 10 outings.

Trae Young to record 10+ assists (+160)
When your shot isn’t falling, the next best thing you can do to help your team win is to get everyone else involved. Without a big game from Trae Young there is no way the Hawks can win. The Celtics defense has bothered him quite a lot in the first 2 games of this series and he’s averaging just 20 points per game on 35% from the field. His assists are also down to 7 per game, from the 10.2 he averaged during the regular season. Young is better than the numbers are showing right now, and playing at home where he’s comfortable should make things a bit easier. If we disregard this series, he’s recorded 10 or more assists in 4 of his last 8 against the Celtics, while the last time he played them at home he finished with 35 points and 13 dimes. I’m not expecting those type of numbers tonight, but 10 assists should definitely be possible. Young has also suffered a recent family bereavement, and I’m sure he will be keen to have a big game and a win tonight.
