After just 3 games on Tuesday, the NBA returns with a full slate on Wednesday with 22 teams in action. The Knicks and Hawks get us started at 7:30 pm ET on ESPN. I have prepared a Same Game Parlay, which you can find below.

As always you can find our picks on the side and total for all 11 games tonight on our NBA Predictions page.

Let’s dive in!

New York Knicks 1-10 win margin (+185)

Julius Randle to score 20+ points (-180)

Trae Young Over 2.5 made threes (+132)

Same Game Parlay odds: +803

New York Knicks 1-10 win margin (+185)

I was impressed by the Knicks in their last home game on Sunday, as they beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 92-81. The Cavs just couldn’t buy a bucket; they shot worse than 35% from the field and below 23% from 3. The win ended a 5-game slide for New York at Madison Square Garden; it is only 5-7 SU in 12 home games this year. Atlanta is one of the Knicks’ favorite opponents, though. Of the last 9 meetings, 7 of them have gone New York’s way. I’m expecting another feisty atmosphere tonight. After a couple of games struggling offensively, the Knicks finally face a team that is bad on defense. Their last 7 of 10 meetings were decided by 10 or less points, so it could be another close finish at MSG tonight.

Julius Randle to score 20+ points (-180)

The Knicks have 4 players scoring in double-figures this season, but none of them has been as consistent as Julius Randle — who is putting up 22.1 a night on 46% shooting over his last 10 outings. He didn’t have the best of games against Atlanta in the first meeting of the season when he finished with 14, so it’s a bounce back opportunity for him tonight. He usually gets up for these type of games. Dating back to the 2020-21 season (playoffs included), Randle has played the Hawks a total of 14 times and he’s scored at least 20 points in all but 5 games, so consistency is on our side here. With De’Andre Hunter and John Collins out for Atlanta, Randle won’t have to do as much on the defensive end — so there is a solid chance of him getting 20 points.

Trae Young Over 2.5 made threes (+132)

Trae Young has been battling a shoulder injury lately, so you can get favorable odds for him to score only 3 threes in tonight’s game. Madison Square Garden is one of his favorite venues to play at; in his last 2 visits he’s totaled 9 threes and against the Knicks he has gone over 2.5 threes 3 times in the last 4 meetings overall. For his career in 14 games against them he is averaging 3.1 treys made per game on a solid 37% efficiency. Although his injury has impacted his shooting over the last 9 games, I still feel like tonight’s game is a good chance to turn things around. He averages around 20 shots per game as the leading scorer for the Hawks this season, 7 of which come from 3-point land. New York ranks only 12th in opponent 3-point percentage this season, so this looks like a favorable spot.
