The Boston Celtics will have their first chance at eliminating the Atlanta Hawks tonight as they host Game 5 of their series with a commanding 3-1 lead. Tip-off is at 7:30 pm ET on TNT, and I’ve prepared a Same Game Parlay which you can find below.

Jayson Tatum to score 35+ points (+190)
Jayson Tatum has played a solid series so far, averaging 28.5 points on almost 45% shooting from the field and 40% from three. His highest points total for the series so far is a modest 31 points, which he scored in the Game 4 victory. I am a bit surprised by those numbers, as you’d expect more from a player who averaged 31.7 points per game at home during the regular season. A breakout performance is coming, I’m sure, and what better way to send out a message to the Philadelphia 76ers, who are waiting in the next round, than with a monster night eliminating the Hawks? If we look at the regular season, Tatum scored 34, 38, 33 and 34 points in 4 of the last 6 meetings with Atlanta, so expecting 35 points from a volume shooter like him shouldn’t be too much of an ask. We also shouldn’t forget that the Celtics’ secondary option on offense, Jaylen Brown, is still bothered by the cut he has on his shooting hand, and if that becomes and issue during the game then Tatum will get some extra shots.

Trae Young to score 35+ points (+290)
Trae Young really picked it up over the past 2 games, recording 67 points and 24 assists, but sadly for Hawks fans they were able to win only 1 of their 2 home games. With this being an elimination game, Atlanta has no other choice but to turn to Young once again, especially with the news of Dejounte Murray being suspended after bumping an official at the end of Game 4. Young has scored 30+ points in half the games he played without Murray in the lineup this season, and he’s averaging 11.3 assists in those 6 games, so the ball should spend the majority of the night in his hands on the offensive end. With this potentially being the final game of the season I also expect his minutes to be up. He recorded 41 in Game 4 so don’t be surprised if he goes over that in tonight’s game. With Bogdan Bogdanovic most likely replacing Murray in the lineup, Young has another teammate who will attract the Celtics defense, so maybe that helps him get additional space when attacking the basket.
