The Major League Baseball postseason continues with division-series games in both the American League and National League on Wednesday. The Houston Astros are hoping to close out the Minnesota Twins, while the Arizona Diamondbacks are on the verge of a 3-game sweep at the Los Angeles Dodgers’ expense. As for the Atlanta Braves vs Philadelphia Phillies showdown, that is tied up at 1-1. Below is my MLB mega parlay for Wednesday, and also be sure to check out all of our MLB picks on the side and total for today’s 3 matchups.

Astros ML (+108)

Braves ML (+102)

Diamondbacks ML (+124)

MLB parlay odds: +841

For this MLB parlay, we are going with 3 slight underdogs on the money line. Let’s break down each of the 3 legs.

Houston Astros ML over Minnesota Twins (+108)

Minnesota did well to even up the series with a Game 2 victory in Houston, but Houston got back on track in a big way on Tuesday night. The Astros went on the road and dominated Game 3 by a 9-1 margin. Cristian Javier fired 5.0 innings of 1-hit, shutout baseball and Jose Abreu hit 2 of his team’s 4 home runs. Houston is simply the much better team on paper and now that it is showing as much on the field, I expect the rest of the series to be one-way traffic – and by “the rest of the series” I mean “Game 4.” Getting the Astros as underdogs is value that I’m not going to pass up.

Atlanta Braves ML over Philadelphia Phillies (+102)

The nature of baseball is such that momentum doesn’t mean as much as it does in most other sports – such as football. It’s a slower, individualistic kind of activity. Plus the Phillies are going back home for the next 2 games. All of that being said, the way in which Game 2 materialized is something that cannot be discounted. Philadelphia led 4-0, Zack Wheeler was dealing and the series looked all but over going into the sixth inning. Instead, the Braves’ powerhouse offense finally woke up and paved the way to a dramatic 5-4 come-from-behind victory that was capped off by an epic double-play from Michael Harris II to Austin Riley to Matt Olson. Atlanta will probably piece together a whole bunch of pitchers for Game 3, but it also has a favorable matchup with Aaron Nola going for Philly. Nola (4.46 ERA) wasn’t good at all during the regular season and the Braves are obviously quite familiar with him. I’ll back Atlanta to keep it rolling.

Arizona Diamondbacks ML over LA Dodgers (+124)

The Braves were close to going down 2-0; the Dodgers are down 2-0. The way in which Los Angeles dropped 2 straight contests at home was alarming, as well. It lost 11-2 in the series opener and its offense has generated a grand total of 4 runs through 2 games. They have already used their 2 best pitchers, too, which means they had to choose between Ryan Pepiot and Lance Lynn for their Game 3 starter. Neither one of them on the mound with the season on the line inspires much confidence. Lynn was a last-second trade-deadline acquisition for the Dodgers, a curious move given that he compiled a 6.47 ERA with the White Sox. He has been better with L.A. — but not by much. Brandon Pfaadt is toeing the rubber for Arizona. He wasn’t great in the wild-card round against the Milwaukee Brewers, but for the most part, he has been a solid starter in 2023. The bottom line is that I wouldn’t be surprised if the Dodgers are done. Let’s side with the Snakes.
