The week in Major League Baseball continues with a 16-game slate on Wednesday. It includes a big series between the Houston Astros and Seattle Mariners, plus important American League ties such as the New York Yankees vs Toronto Blue Jays.

The Pickswise experts have been absolutely on fire, as we just cashed 2 more MLB props on Tuesday to improve to a 14-2 run while also going 2-0 with our YRFI/NRFI best bets. Let’s keep the momentum going! Below is my MLB mega parlay for Wednesday, and also be sure to check out all of our MLB picks for today’s games.

Rangers -1.5 (-105)

Astros vs Mariners First 5 innings under 4.5 (-120)

Pirates ML (+106)

MLB Parlay Odds: +638

Texas Rangers -1.5 over Los Angeles Angels (-105)

It goes without saying that the Rangers need to take advantage of this series against the miserable Angels. On the mound for Texas will be the dependable Dane Dunning, who holds a 3.88 ERA in 162.1 innings pitched this season. Recently, Dunning hasn’t been as effective, but he’s had great success against the Angels this season. In fact, in 10 innings against Los Angeles, he has allowed 8 hits and only 3 earned runs. On Wednesday, he’ll face a lifeless Angels lineup without Shohei Ohtani, Mike Trout and Anthony Rendon. Unfortunately for the Angels, Griffin Canning will be taking the mound. Canning was recently shelled by the Rangers at the beginning of August for 4 runs in just 3.2 innings of work, and I can see a similar result here. This one shouldn’t be close.

Houston Astros vs Seattle Mariners First 5 innings under 4.5 (-120)

For the second leg of this MLB mega parlay, we’re going with the under in the first 5 innings between the Astros and Mariners. If you’re not living under a rock, you know that this is a massive series for both squads as they make their push for either an AL West title or an AL Wild Card berth. Therefore, I’m expecting a pair of focused starters on the mound in this one, starting with Bryan Woo for Seattle, who tossed 6 effective innings in his only appearance against the Astros this season. Woo’s xERA and other advanced metrics also suggest that he’s due for some positive regression, so he should have a strong outing in a pitcher’s park on Wednesday.

On the other side, the Astros will be sending Framber Valdez to the mound, who has solid peripherals but his expected metrics suggest that his good numbers are a bit of fool’s gold. Nonetheless, I still expect Valdez to perform well against a Mariners lineup that has been extremely up-and-down all season long, especially in the first time through the order. I like the fact that we can eliminate bullpen variance with this bet, so let’s back the under in the first 5 innings.

Pittsburgh Pirates ML over Philadelphia Phillies (+106)

Tuesday brought a celebration that went deep into the night for the Phillies, as Philadelphia clinched a postseason berth for another year. But before the Phillies can take aim at the rest of the National League, Philadelphia will be partying and the alcohol will be flowing. Needless to say, the game against the Pirates on Wednesday might not be a massive priority for the Phillies, and this line has already come down substantially from its mispriced +185 opener. It doesn’t help that expected starter Ranger Suarez has a 1-3 record with a 4.99 ERA and 1.34 WHIP in 11 home starts this season. Let’s back the Pirates to beat what should be an unfocused Philadelphia side on Wednesday.
