Pickswise was nice enough to give me the opportunity to write my plays up for you all. For those of you who don’t know me, they refer to me as JutPicks on Twitter. I post all my plays with brief write-ups every day. Now I get to write even more with no character limit!
I pride myself in being as transparent as they come. My NBA record from last season and this season are listed in my bio alongside my MLB and NFL record. Without further ado, let’s dive into my favorite play for Sunday.
Jrue Holiday (MIL) under 34.5 points, rebounds and assists (-125)
Line available at FanDuel Sportsbook at time of publishing.
This may be an uncomfortable fade for some, but with Giannis Antetokounmpo in the lineup, Jrue Holiday has yet to eclipse this line this season when both Bucks stars play without Khris Middleton on the court.
Holiday draws a tough matchup with Alex Caruso today. Caruso was the primary guard of Middleton in the first 2 games and gave him trouble. Now, Caruso will be assigned to Holiday and he should make him work for his points, especially in the pick-and-roll game.
Holiday will be surrounded by shooters today. Bobby Portis stands out in this matchup, especially with Brook Lopez in the lineup. Grayson Allen and Pat Connaughton will space the floor for Holiday and Antetokounmpo as the Chicago Bulls have to pack the paint.
I project Holidays’ stat line to consist of 18 points, 8 assists and 5 rebounds, which will be a fine game for him but still go under this line.
