We have put together a 4-pick cross-sport parlay that will take you right through Friday, including action from college basketball, college football, the NBA, and NHL.
One pick is taken from each sport and a winning ticket gives us a nice payout with odds at +870 with DraftKings; that’s more than 8/1! Let’s break down each of these plays.
NBA: Detroit Pistons vs Cleveland Cavaliers -4.5 (-115), 7:40pm ET
The Cavaliers are off to a nice start to the season. They just saw their 4-game winning streak come to an end against the Wizards, but taking on the Pistons is a great spot to get a win and get back on track. Leading scorer Collin Sexton has a knee injury that looks like it might end his season and forward Lauri Markkanen is out due to heath and safety protocols. Both losses hurt their depth, but Detroit is the perfect opponent for them because they don’t score much at all.
In this matchup, Cleveland can own the boards with its size up front and get enough scoring thanks to the orchestration of point guard Ricky Rubio, who is playing starter’s minutes off the bench. The Cavs should lock up the worst team in the Eastern Conference and win easily at home.

NHL: Arizona Coyotes vs Chicago Blackhawks ML (-220), 8:08pm ET
The Blackhawks are a team stuck in purgatory as they have one foot in a rebuild but still have franchise players Patrick Kane, Jonathan Toews and Marc Andre Fleury on the roster. The future is uncertain in Chicago but for tonight’s game against the Arizona Coyotes the home side are the better bet.
On the Arizona side, take all the bad things about Chicago and multiply them. The Coyotes rank last in the NHL in goal differential at -33 and that is last by a mile with the next lowest team at -19 goals. No scoring, no defense, no goaltending is the story of the 2021 Coyotes. Take the Blackhawks.

College Football: Wyoming Cowboys +14 (-115) vs Boise State Broncos, 9pm ET
Boise State has the better offense in terms of scoring points, which is why they are almost a 2-touchdown favorite in this game. The Broncos average 30.4 points and 384.7 yards per game. Wyoming is not far from them and averages 23.0 points and 348.0 yards per game. Although Boise has the edge on offense, Wyoming is better on defense. They allow almost 75 fewer yards per game than Boise State. This spread is too high for teams that are evenly matched on paper. Boise State have pulled off all their best wins on the road and have won just 1 home game this year. Take the Cowboys to cover.

College Basketball: Princeton Tigers vs South Carolina Gamecocks -5.5 (-110), 9:30pm ET
This line is shockingly low. That is kind of flattering to Princeton but at the same time insulting to South Carolina. The Gamecocks might be the worst team in the SEC this season, but they can still control this game. South Carolina might not have high-level talent but they have size and athleticism. Princeton is a sound program, but the Ivy League did not play last year and their tune-up game will not have prepared them for what is it like to be leaned on for 40 minutes. Look for South Carolina to win and cover.
