The MLB dominates today’s sports action, but there are still plenty of promotions and odds boosts on offer that you can look to take advantage of, including the UFC for this weekend and the Olympics, which officially starts tomorrow morning.

Here we will need three teams to win their respective games to cash at a huge price. We lean to the Seattle Mariners to beat the Oakland Athletics, but that is really where our confidence stops. The Cleveland Indians will be playing the Tampa Bay Rays and while the Rays are favored, we like the Indians and Cal Quantrill to pull off the upset. As for the Marlins, they will be facing the Padres and Blake Snell, so it is hard to be confident in their chances. While the price is intriguing, it is probably better to avoid this odds boost. No runs scored in the 1st inning of Cubs vs Cardinals – Boosted to +110 with DraftKings Sportsbook
For this odds boost, we are going to need solid pitching for just the first inning. That seems to be the case tonight for the St. Louis Cardinals, but maybe not so much for the Chicago Cubs. Kwang-Hyun Kim will be the guy for the Cardinals and the Cubs will be starting Adbert Alzolay. Kim has been great all season for the Cardinals and pretty much the opposite is true for Alzolay. Despite that, asking Alzolay to go just one inning without trouble is reasonable, therefore backing this play at plus money is worth a shot. Yankees vs Red Sox: Each team to score in the first inning – Boosted to +950 with DraftKings Sportsbook
Here we are going to need a rocky start from both starting pitchers and frankly, both teams have enough power to get off to a fast start. Even if the Yankees’ lineup is down a few players, they have enough pop to get a run early. The same goes with Boston, who have a very talented lineup. Yankees starter Jordan Montgomery has not been great this season and even though Boston starter Tanner Houck has been decent, giving up an early run is certainly possible. The Phillies are coming off back-to-back losses to the New York Yankees, and will be looking to bounce back tonight against the Braves. Bryce Harper had one RBI over the two games in New York, but more the most part, does very well against Atlanta pitching. While there is a decent chance that he records an RBI tonight, our experts actually like the Braves to win the game. Charlie Morton will be on the mound and he has improved tremendously. Walker Buehler to strike out the first Giants batter of the game – Boosted to +320 with DraftKings Sportsbook
This prop seems to be a coin toss as we will need Walker Buehler to record a strikeout on the first batter of the game. The leadoff man for the Giants is LaMonte Wade Jr and he has 31 strikeouts over 130 plate appearances, so he does not strike an excessive amount. The Olympics gets fully started tomorrow morning, which means it is not too late to look at the gold medal market. As dominant as Team USA is expected to be, we actually think fading them is the best option. This is the first Olympics in a while without Michael Phelps, meaning they are likely not guaranteed as many medals in swimming as they had been previously. We already like this fight to end inside the distance, so backing Darrick Minner looks to be a safe play. Minner already has three submission wins in the UFC, while Elkins just lost by submission in his most recent fight. For that reason, this looks to be a solid play to take advantage of.
