Show Bio

Like most Lithuanians, I started watching basketball from the age of six. I'm based out in London and played basketball at the University of Lincoln here in the UK. I had always had an interest in the NBA but things really took off in the summer of 2010. That year Linas Kleiza led Lithuania to 3rd place at the World Championships and signed with the Toronto Raptors to replace the departing Chris Bosh. I've been a Raptors fan since that day and I've not missed a game since. I've been handicapping games for more than a decade, specializing in player props. The NBA brings a 10-game slate to us on Tuesday night with plenty of interesting matchups as always. To start the night, the Philadelphia 76ers will aim to tie the current longest winning streak in the NBA as they take on the Washington Wizards. Then later, Jalen Brunson will be taking on his former team as the Dallas Mavericks battle the New York Knicks live on NBA TV. You can check out our NBA picks for each of those games, but for now, let’s dive in to our best NBA player props for tonight’s action.

Each of these NBA props are available to bet at FanDuel Sportsbook, and right now new users can get a No Sweat Bet up to $1,000! Click this link to sign up to FanDuel and take advantage of this great offer.

Kristaps Porzingis over 1.5 made threes (-128)

Kristaps Porzingis will inevitably find himself matched up against Joel Embiid during different points tonight. That will make it tough for the Latvian to score inside the paint, considering that Embiid can match his length. Look for the Washington Wizards center to spend more time beyond the arc tonight, attacking from 3-point range. He has struggled for efficiency from out there this month so expect the 76ers to happily give those shots up to him, helping him secure his volume of shots here. Porzingis is still a 32.5% shooter from out there this season and should be able to convert a couple of these here.

Russell Westbrook over 12.5 assists + rebounds (+100)

While Russell Westbrook has failed to hit the over on this line in 2 straight games, he has been able to clear it in 8 of 11 this month. I expect him to return to that type of form tonight. Up against him is a Orlando Magic squad that tends to play big, something the Lakers could have issues with. That will put more emphasis on guards like Westbrook to help out on the glass. The length of the Magic is also likely to affect his drives to the rim. The hosts are 11th in blocks per game this season which should encourage Westbrook to look for drive and kick opportunities.  That should help the guard rack up his assists tonight.

OG Anunoby over 1.5 made threes (-120)

When the Toronto Raptors have all of their usual starting 5 available, the role of OG Anunoby switches more to a 3-and-D type of player. That was on full display in their last outing against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Anunoby knocked down 6 of his 9 attempts from deep, with more than half of his attempts being 3-pointers. With the defensive focus of the Los Angeles Clippers being on slowing down Pascal Siakam here, expect those similar opportunities to be here for the forward. Considering he is a 35% shooter from this season, expect him to knock a couple down tonight.

LaMelo Ball over 3.5 made threes (-120)

LaMelo Ball has been able to knock down 4 or more 3-pointers in each of his last 9 games. He has been given the green light on this Hornets offense and he has been taking full advantage of it this month. Through 7 games in December he has attempted double-digit shots from 3-point range in 6, coming just 1 short in the other. His opponents here have struggled to defend the perimeter. Over the last 10 games the Golden State Warriors have let teams shoot at a 39.7% clip from out there, a mark that puts them 29th in the league. With the volume of shots that Ball attempts, that should surely allow him to keep him streak going tonight. Back the over as a result.
