With several intriguing NBA matchups set to take place this Tuesday, I’ve once again gone in-depth with all five games and came up with three of my favorite Player Prop Bets worth keeping an eye on.
Check out my bets below, but also be sure to visit our NBA Picks page for predictions on the side and total for all five games taking place tonight, but without further ado let’s jump into it.
Lauri Markkanen over 19.5 points (-125)
The Knicks just aren’t stopping anyone right now. They allowed 145 points in their last game against Oklahoma City and recently shipped 133 against Boston at Madison Square Garden. Lauri Markkanen is more than capable of taking advantage of that in tonight’s matchup. He’s had some pretty big scoring games against the Knicks as a member of the Chicago Bulls, having twice reached the 30-point mark. So far on the season, he’s averaging 21.8 per game, but at home that number jumps up to 23.6 per game on 59% shooting from the field.
Utah is still undefeated at home with a 5-0 record, and with the way the Knicks have been playing lately, it’s hard to imagine them changing that. New York allows the 2nd-most three-pointers per game at 14.1 and the 6th-worst defensive rating in the NBA at 113.5. Markkanen had a relatively quiet 15 points in the loss at Philadelphia, but now it’s time for the Jazz to bounce back and for him to have a big scoring night.

Kevin Huerter over 2.5 made threes (-136)
The addition of Huerter has done wonders for the depth of the Sacramento Kings. He’s leading the team in three-point makes this year, averaging 3.8 per game, while scoring at an impressive 51.1% from downtown. That’s only 2nd to Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, who is shooting 54%. Huerter has drained at least 3 threes in 7 of his last 8 games overall, and against the Nets in head-to-head meetings, he’s done that in 2 of the last 4 meetings, averaging 2.8 threes per game.
Brooklyn is one of the worst teams in the NBA when it comes to perimeter defense – they allow 13.1 threes per game which ranks just 24th, and opponents are scoring on 37.8% of their attempts from distance. Even the historically bad Lakers shooters were able to drain 11 threes and shoot 40% against them just a couple of nights ago. I’m expecting a high-scoring game between the Nets and Kings. If that’s the case then Huerter should score 3 threes fairly easily here.
Tuesday’s NBA Mega Parlay has +965 odds!
Damian Lillard to score 25+ points (-145)
Players are scoring the basketball at a historic pace to start the new NBA season. We have 8 of them currently averaging over 30 points per game, but who do you think isn’t part of that elusive company? That’s right, it’s Damian Lillard. So far in 8 games played, he’s averaging “just” 28.6 points per game, with a couple of sub-par scoring performances against Miami and Sacramento having lowered his average under 30.
He’s scored at least 25 points in the other 5 games he’s played, I’m expecting a big game from him tonight against the defensively-challenged Spurs. San Antonio is one of his favorite opponents, and in 27 career games against them he is averaging 27 points per game while shooting 45% from the field and 35% from three. He’s scored at least 25 against them in 8 of the last 10 meetings, and after seeing the Spurs allow over 120 points 4 times in their last 7 games, I expect Dame to have a big night.
