Kyle Kuzma is amid a career year for the Washington Wizards in his 2nd season with the club. The trio of Bradley Beal, Kristaps Porzingis and Kuzma is one of the most talented trios in the league but their defense is what losses them games. They rank as the 6th-worst defense in the NBA in terms of defensive efficiently.
This will be the 4th and final matchup between these 2 teams with the Wizards taking the last 2. Surprisingly, the trio has been healthy for all three games with Beal and Porzingis each missing chunks of the year. A case can be made for backing Beal or Porzingis in this matchup. Beal has been on fire, averaging close to 28 points in his last 5 games, while Porzingis had a 40-point game 4 days ago. Kuzma on the other hand is being overshadowed. He’s not seeing the volume that he’s used to and has stayed under in all 3 games against the 76ers. Kuzma will most likely get the Tobias Harris or P.J. Tucker matchup, which has given teams fit all season long.
